I dont think the Flyers are questioning thier luck.. they're use to drawing the best in the region 1st round so im sure they had it set in thier mind they wiould draw Henry Clay the only difference this year is they have proved they deserve to be on the field with this Henry Clay team the way they have played this year.. im lookin for Franklin County to show everyone what happens when a team comes in and over looks a good team that they've never seen!

What is sad one of the House of Reps is a Alumnus and teacher in the system. He hasn't done anything to assist the school system. Hopefully he soon will be replaced.

Pretty strong statement there CB if you have heard or been near the school you know what's going on. Its not that its his fault in any way nor does he have a chance to do anything right now, we barely can keep a principal at FHS for one year. And we are getting another next year. So if he goes its pretty much the whole staff besides foley, that's sad to say so I don't think him leaving would help anything.

who could be the team to sneak up and do some damage in the 11th region this year?

Actually not sure what kind of Offense Coach Foley will have this season.

 

As for running the footbal every play.

 

I watched Danville and Beechwood in the State Finals few years ago. Danville came out and threw 1 pass and it was intercepted. On the next series they threw another pass and it was incomplete. After that Coach Harp hand the ball off and racked up over 600 yards of offense and I think one of his Rb's had over 400 yards rushing.

 

Point: You don't have to chuck it every play to win a state Title.

 

 

Last season FHS vs Beechwood.

 

Beechwood won the game by lining up and running the football. They made FHS like it. FHS stood a better chance had Beechwood stayed in the GUN.

I assure you, you school has spent more money on your FIELD than Frankfort High has spent on ALL SPORTS COMBINED at FHS in the last 5 to 10 years!.I have been to Beechwood and I believe you have field turf.I am a FCHS fan and live in Frankfort,and know the situation at FHS.Foley and Co have performed a minor miracle to just put uniforms on kids backs, much less be competitive!You cannot truly understand the situation at FHS if you can't see that most programs have a huge edge compared to FHS before the first practice ever happens.I doubt many coaches could have the success that these coaches have had if put in the same situation.Most would choose to move on and forsake the kids.

One thing I know about Foley is either he's crazy or he FHS football and kids becasue hes been offered jobs but never left: YET and I hope he continues to stay at FHS real great guy and he will find some great shoe fillers maybe not as great but just as good!!!

Look for Oakley Watkins to be the leader of this team.He is a winner like former Qb Ammons.I look for him to be another of the overachievers that Coach Ledford has coached.I think most of the players at FCHS learned a valuable lessen about preperation and confidence after their playoff loss last year.this could be the best recieving corps in years and Robinson will pick up where Metcalf left off.Line play is the big Question mark.

How well do you feel that Robinson will fill Metcalfs shoes?

Is this the same Tom Roberts that was head coach at Western Hills?

I don't know about Hills but i know he was at Franklin for a while.

No, I do not think Metcalf is D-1 Just think he will step in nicely this year. My post was not a shot at EJ.

What is it that you think Metcalf would need to do to become a D-1 player?

what about Franklin County who have beat some really good teams and have lost to some very good baseball teams by 3 or less runs... they've had one slip up against woodford when they played a very bad game with no energy.. im not saying there the best but the way their playing you've gotta get them their props!
