  1. I haven't gotten to see Littrell pitch but I hope to during the school year or summer. Riddle can throw hard but from my understanding he will not pitch at all at UK. He will be a middle infielder only. As for Gott, people have said he touched 95 during the summer. He has always been able to throw hard but I have always questioned how good of a "pitcher" he is because he has never really had to pitch. But when you throw low to mid '90's someone will pay to teach you how to do it. Mark Biggs in Bowling Green is also a very hard throwing righty that is well known on the summer circuit. I believe he is just a junior and has been clocked as high as 92 or so.

Riddle will most likely pitch and play some middle infield next year as uk is still not sure which way they want to use him yet.

  2. Congrats to USC they were the better team and won the game. I was at the game and the crowd was the loudest I have ever heard it. Also I think OSU is a year away from being one of the best teams in the nation due to the youth but it also depends on how Pryor grows and develops as a quarterback. Great game to be at and once again congrats to USC on pulling it out.

  3. I started a thread about this last year, and have never understood it. They have long history, great tradition, a fantastic head coach, top recruits and NFL caliber players, a great band and cheerleaders and a championship program. What is it that you "despise" about them?

The USC players have no class what so ever. After the game they showed no respect for OSU players or fans.

  4. Not sure. Just going by what I heard, which was that Franklin County hit a lot of ground balls through the infield... I guess they could have been hard ground balls. I also heard Western Hills' second basemen had a potential double play the third batter of the game, tagged the runner going to second and overthrew first base. Pretty impressive that Franklin County scored four or five runs with three batters. I heard that play seem to set the tone for the entire game.

Since it sounds like you were at the game, would Riddle have made a difference had he pitched?

With the way the defense played Riddle probaly wouldn't have made a difference. County didn't hit very solid in the first inning.
