  1. Congratulations Boyd on the win. Ashland had a great year-it just ended sooner that should have and was very disappointing, especially to our group of seniors. And, I'm not sure what Ashland fans expected to lose, because the fans I spoke with had the utmost confidence in their ability to play. It just wasn't their night. The seniors will be missed and we wish them the best.

  3. I think that Russell has a slight advantage in this one. Expect to see a heavy dose of Abrams from the Red Devils, and I just don't think Ashland will be able to stop it. With the game being in Putnam, I think it will be close. However, I still see the quarterback position as a problem for the Tomcats. I would not be surprised if we see more than one quarterback this Friday night.
