  1. I'm going to try a different approach. I think there are four groups.

    1. THOSE WITH A LEGITIMATE SHOT TO WIN THE REGION: Elliott County, Rose Hill, East Carter;

    2. OUTSIDE SHOT TO WIN: Bath County, Fairview;

    3. COULD PULL AN UPSET OR TWO, BUT NOT THE WHOLE THING: Ashland, Raceland, West Carter, Boyd County, Rowan County

    4. NO SHOT: Russell, Greenup, Morgan, Menifee, Fleming, Lewis

The teams in each group are in no particular order.

I disagree. Morgan County will surprise alot of people. Their working hard. Not saying they do have a chance, but they're getting better everyday.

  2. OK I see although quite a few said Covington Catholic was there worst game but you know when throw up that many threes you are bound to get beat by the good ones.;) Maybe they (Elliott) should try a new approach like posting up or something and then maybe they will start beating quality teams instead of just running the score up on the less talented teams.:thumb::banana:

I would probly agree. Covington Catholic and Rose Hill were they're two worst games. Elliott did not change the way they played against Rose Hill or Covingtion, it caused them to get beat. I agree with you on this. When the threes dont fall, post up. That was very well put. I would have to disagree with you on the beating quality teams part though. They have beat more than a few quality teams this year.

In another case 'running up the score on less taltented teams', i have a very strong opinion about that. Elliott goes 3 deep on their bench, and alteast one of the three step up when they are needed, and play as well if not better than the starting five. Elliott does not run the score up on purpose, you cant tell your team to stop giving 110%. They are the most respectful bunch of boys Ive seen play in a long time.

  3. No matter whether people like it or not, Rose Hill has to be above Elliott now. They have played once and RH won if nobody noticed. Until beaten they are on top by Elliott.

BTW, why no love for Boyd?? After all your past polls you might as well put Boyd at the bottom...Show some love. They have beaten 2 of the teams above them.:thumb:

I diagree with you. Ive seen both play. With Elliott playing one of their worst games against The Hill and still had problems, Elliott is still on top by far.:D

    1.Elliott County

    2.Rose Hill

    3.East Carter

    4.Bath County

    5.West Carter

    6.Ashland

    7.Raceland

    12.Fleming County

    13.Lewis County

    14.Greenup County

    15.Menifee County

    16. Russell

  4. 1.Elliott County-Best in the region by far

2.East Carter- second best winning percentage, big win over Raceland, slipped against Fairview.

3.Bath County-good win over Rose Hill, haven't lost in awhile.

4.Raceland-No true solid wins, but riding a 4 game win streak.

5.Ashland-Great win over Fairview, but lost 2 out of last 3.

6.Fairview-Big wins against East Carter, but barely beat Boyd County and lost 2 out of last 3.

7.West Carter-3 game win streak, but 2 losses to Boyd County hurts them.

8.Rose Hill- Toughest schedule so far in the 16th, will move up after they play more 16th teams.

9.Fleming County- Cupcake schedule provides them with a above .500 record.

10.Morgan County- Good win over Bath County, Underachieving a tad bit.

11.Boyd County-Good wins over West Carter, but haven't beat really anyone else.

    12.Rowan County-Lost several tight ones.

    13.Lewis County-0-8 in region play.

14.Greenup County-Beat Russell, lost thier coach.

15.Russell-Beat Fleming County, Lost top 2 players.

16.Menifee County-Beat the worst of the 14th Region, Lost to everyone and thier brother.

Rosehill should be ranked higher, and west should be somewhat lower...Bath County is ranked a bit high as well
