Does anyone know who made the All 10th Region Team? I understand Jacob Rieger was named as the Player of the Year. Jacob had an awesome year and is very deserving of the award. It couldn't have been given to better kid.

I,m going out on a limb and predicting a Camel upset in this one. The Camels have been playing well. Point guard Jordan Smith has returned and is a big help. Geiman and McGovney have stepped it up on the offensive end. The Camel defense has been great at times when able to stay out of foul trouble. If things fall into place a Camel "W" is a real possibility.
Does anyone know the start time of the game. I have heard it is an afternoon game??????????

Earlier in the season I never would have thought the Camels could play with Scott. However the Camels are really coming together and I expect it to be a good game.
Camels 51
Eagles 46

Was this for the Kenton County Tourney I am guessing? Who is the next opponent?
The Camels play Scott Saturday Night at Scott.
The Camels took Conner out of their game with some great high pressure defense on the Conner gurads. I think Conner only scored 4 points in the thrid quarter. It is nice to see the Camels on the giving end of some defense with an attitude! Great Job Camels!

Any thoughts on how these two teams might mathup?

Congratulations Jacob! One of the finest players in the Region. Keep up the good work!

If he qualifies for a full academic scholarship, then there would be no reason to use athletic scholarship money on the kid. Sounds like a win/win if that is the case. Does anyone know?
Walk on.

Does anyone have a schedule for the Kenton County Tourney next week?

As a matter of clarification, Brady will be red shirting for the 2010/2011 season at NKU. Coach Bezold and his staff feel that if Brady can put on some weight and muscle he has the potential to be a good college player. Brady is a late bloomer as far as his physical development is concerned and he has a tremendous upside if he can develop physically. He is an excellent shooter/scorer and has a high basketball IQ.
Work ethic is one of Brady's strengths and it is his hope that his hard work will be rewarded with good results. He had other opportunities at other D2 and D3 schools, but it has always been his dream to play at NKU. He feels blessed to be given this opportunity by Coach Bezold and it is his intent to work as hard as possible to reward the coach's confidence in him. Any prayers regarding his efforts would be greatly appreciated as he strives to fulfill a childhood dream.

Ill take the Camels in a rare Fieldhouse upset 57-53

The Camels are starting to get some good minutes from several players. The younger players are really coming around. The team seems to give 100% effort 32 minutes a game. Hopefully by tournament time we will be able to compete with the stronger teams.

1st Round game of the Lloyd Memorial Tourney. Any Thoughts?

As a Camel parent and Alumni I would be intersted to hear from you Cov Cath guys your impression of this years Camels. From an outsiders point of view what did you like or dislike about our team? What did you see as our strengths and weaknesses? I fear that I am being brain washed by those in the stands around me.
-
What do you think? I expect the Camels to have a good showing but they will be playing without PG Jordan Smith (broken wrist).
Hopefully the Camels will begin to gel and begin to play more consistently. I don't think they have been able to get comfortable with a style of play yet. They seem to play better when they are able to create a more frenzied pace.

Does anyone know the schedule for the Lloyd Invitational December 26 - 30?

I will take Highlands by 5 over Mason.

Sometimes you need a little luck but sounds like Jolly played well in this game. Pangallo was shut down it seems, was it due to strong perimeter defense by the Camels?
Geiman and Neises for the Camels have been doing an aewsome job on the perimeter defense this year. I think this did impact Pangallos play.

Why Dixie doesn't get the ball to Pike down low every possession is beyond me??? There is nobody on the Camels team that could handle him down there..:confused:
I felt like Dixie was trying to get Pike the ball everytime down. The Camel guards were applying great pressure and Wolf and Jolly did a decent job of fronting the post. The Camels really turned up the heat on defense in the second half. It is the first time I have seen an attitude on defense from the Camels. Great team Win!

The Camels need a good showing tonight to boost their confidence for the Cross Town Shoot Out on Friday. I expect to see some good pressure defense on the part of the Camels. It seems that this team flows better when the pace is fast and furious.

Congratulations to Daniel. I had the opportunity to spend a great deal of time with Daniel and his family this summer. Daniel definitely is a talented, bright, personable young man. In my opinion he will be a good college player. He is still developing physically and has a lot of skills. I think he will shine this year on a very good Scott High School team.

Both teams played very good defense. Grant Jolly's defense is tenacious off of the bench. He is going to be very valuable as a stopper for the Camels.
