Dixie Heights beat Pulaski Co in a good game. I left before it was over but it was by 10 or so.

Before Coach Jones took over the program the coach who was there before him seem to have misplaced or destroyed all of the stats from previous years. So now there is no way to look at all the stats from previous years. Who knows what he was thinking.

I read over these fairly quickly and noticed that nothing was mentioned about Josh Phillips. The Raider second leading scorer and a huge part of their offense was not at the game. This would have made a huge difference in the game. Yes to all I did read the posts closely enough to see that Somerset won the game.

On a lighter note has anyone ever noticed the guy who stands on the side and acts out the games? At one point he was down doing some sort of sliding drill. I give him the sixth man of 12th region!

I attended the game and was shocked at how Wayne played. They were up by 2 at the half and at the end of the third Q down by 13. They had a hard tim handling the pressure of the press Southwestern played. Wayne was dribbling the ball of there feet and had a hard time making free throws and shots! With 5:50 to go in the game and Wayne down by 15 Wayne pulled all starters and cleared the bench! If McCreary plays well the Raiders have a good chance to win from the looks of last night!!!

We were one of the preseason favorites. The injury to senior guard Josh Bartlee has set us back a little but we are playing well at the right time. Junior AWord Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter Violation Swiger is really playing well as of late. Josh Phillips has been playing well. Gregory has played exceptionally well the last few games taking better shots and hitting the open man. Gibson made some nice plays against Lincoln besides taken a bad shot or two played pretty solid underneath. Forgot to mention Aaron Watts had 35 against Lincoln tonight!

Again congrats to the Raiders one step closer to the goal!

Good Win! The Raiders played an excellent game from start to finish. Congrats to the Raiders and Coach Jones! Maybe we can finally get a little respect!

I agree SSF this was truly one of the worst games i have ever watched. I didnt know excact stats but i knew it was rediculous. Adam Swiger came through big time tonight with those threes.

One of the most horrible called games I have ever seen. Don't have any stats at this time.

yeah phillps had a really good game Aaron got in foul trouble didnt play most of first or second. They guarded him pretty well also.

McCreary Won!

I have seen McCreary, Wayne, West, Pulaski, Southwestern, and Lincoln play. Lincoln did not have one of their best players (out with broke arm) but they are very strong they have a kid on the inside thats about 6,1 or so but he plays so strong on the inside. They did not shoot the ball very well but they cut and slash to the basket and pass the ball very well. Wayne both times i have seen them play shoot the ball very well. They shot the lights out at McCreary Central the other night. Just about every player they have can shoot it and they have great composure to be a young team with great ball movement. Southwestern is a scrappy team but they seem to be kinda up and down. I would like to see them play again before i make many statements about how good they are. Pulaski has the potential to beat any team in the region. I have seen them play 6 or 7 times and they are really immpressive when they play team basketball. When they go to the big kid Dixon inside and J. Perkins waits for his shots and doesnt try to take over games with one on one play they are really immpressive. They had Lincoln down 10 the other night and fell apart. T. Perkins tried to take over and really hurt their team. McCreary has been struggling of late playing very selfishly and not as a team. If they can come together and start passing and running their offense they are a very strong team. Watts is the soul of that team and when the others admit that he is the one that will take them to the district/region and start picking thier shots when they are there and quit forcing to try to make the paper by scoring they will be extremely tough to beat. Again that is a big maybe! West is a very quick team with not a whole lot of size but they move the ball well and seem to hustle after every ball. Overall I feel as if this region is wide open with the team that comes on late will be the overall winner.

Again its anyones region to win or lose!

True it was a sad night for Raider fans! Wayne could not miss from the 3 point line and McCreary got down and could never seem to get back up and pull back together. The season is still not over yet! Maybe we can make some adjustments and make a late season run toward the regional tournament.

I think this will be a good game and if Central comes to play they should win. If they play like they did against SW they will most certainly lose again. Central needs some good inside play from Phillips tomorrow night to pull off the win. Guess we just wait and see which MC team shows up tomorrow!
