Its not sold in Ohio. You can go to their website and see a map of where it is sold. It is all on the east coast. The closest places to buy it from Kentucky is West Virginia or Tennessee.

With all this talk about how Mason County won't be able guard GRC, what about GRC guarding Mason County? They will get the ball too you know and will be able to put up some points.
-
Purvis dosn't play post....Rogers does. Purvis will be on the wing.
How tall is J Lang?
I'd say he is 5'11" but he is stout.
-
Thanks WildcatScratchFever appreciate it.
With this lineup I could see the matchups of Setty on Zollo, Pawsat on Purvis, B Lang on Rogers, Gilbert on Stenzel and J Lang on Kendred. Rogers is a brute and I see a mis-match there. Really like the way Pawsat plays , but don't think he will be able to handle Purvis. The Mason faithful have not seen him play lately...he will make a huge difference. Feel Gilbert will have trouble containg Stenzel. If Mason's 3 forwards get in foul trouble, just don't see the strength of Mason's bench matching up. For GRC if we get our guards in foul trouble....the same can be said.
Boy do I look forward to another amazing season in the 10th region this year.:thumb:
Trust me, Justin Lang will draw Stenzel. Despite his size, he is a great defender and that will be shown once he gets more minutes. That being said, it will be tough for anyone to "contain" Stenzel. The kid is a stud.
I would say that by the time the 10th Region tournament comes around, Tyler Black or Manship will be starting over Bradley Lang.
-
Its easy to see, GRC and Mason County will be the primary teams fighting it out for the 10th Region Crown next year. Just like it was last year.
Why all the fuss? GRC and Mason County should probably 1 and 1A anyway. And its October! Alot can happen between now and March.
Everyone knows that Preseason Rankings don't matter at all anyways. If that was the case Scott County would have 11 Straight State Titles. Even if GRC is ranked higher in the Preseason than Mason, that really means nothing. Rankings don't matter, the only thing that does is who is holding that trophy in Rupp in March.
Get off of Fraysure for writing his OPINION! I'm sure you would jump at the chance to write the Rankings for the Cats Pause and when you did, people could rip your rankings and tell you how dumb you are too...

I didn't try to discredit Trevor in any way. It is just a fact that Oklahoma State sends out a lot of letters to high school prospects. I know 2 boys from one high school in the 10th region that have received letters from Okla St. Trevor could play somewhere if he decides to buckle down and make an effort. No offense meant at all. He's a fine kid. I think Treg will get a major offer if he keeps improving.
There is a HUGE difference between getting a letter and getting an offer to walk on...

Any ideas of ways to change up the program to work for someone with a badly sprained ankle? I started and then got hurt (doing something else) and I would really like to start up again.
-
It seems that every boy in Ky has received letters and offers from Oklahoma State.
Why try to discredit a kid for getting noticed?
-
Surely there is someone on here from Mason County that knows for sure, I mean Oklahoma State is a big deal even if it is a walk-on. Is he going to junior college in Oklahoma,Kentucky? Sorry to get off the topic on Treg Setty, he should be a beast this year. He disapointed in the regional tournament last year, should be dominant this year, hopefully even against good competition.
Yes, people from Mason County do know, but alot of it is speculation and nothing is offical. It is not our place to share information that isn't 100% accurate.
Treg is due for a Monster year.

After I completed a week and a half (and did really good keeping up with it) I badly sprained my ankle at work. I have an MRI today and I am really disappointed that I had to stop doing it. I really did feel like I had more energy doing it and can't wait to get healed up and start again. Especially after I've been sitting down for a week with my ankle.

Just a hunch, but do you think LeBron's relationship with Cal could turn into UK being the first college team to have LeBron Brand uniforms? Cal is in the process of making them with Nike...
-
They just opened one up on Nicholasville Rd. in Lexington as well.

Scott gave Mason County and Clark County all they wanted last year as they played them very well in some of their games last year....
Scott gave Mason County all they wanted last year? Mason County beat them by 21 on their home floor. I was there and yes Mason County did go on a run at the end of the game to pull away, but they still led the majority of the game by double digits.
They beat Campbell Co. by 20 at home and 15 on the road last year as well. For Scott and Campbell to be considered contenders year in and year out like Mason County and Clark, they will have to have a better showing than that.
Scott gave Clark all they wanted, but not Mason County.

Definitely agree that Justin should have seen the court more often as well as Bradley. I think you will be surprised with how Brad plays and look for him to remain the 5th starter.
I've seen Bradley play dozens of times and I think he is a pretty good player, but he doesn't have half of the upside of Tyler Black.
-
Bradley Lang will start over Tyler Black. Lang is better than a lot of people give him credit for and I look for him and Justin Lang to surprise some people. Black will be a major contributor for the Royals but will not start, not this year.
Bradley will start at the beginning of the year probably, but not at the end of the year. Tyler is just too good offensively and the Royals will be in need of more scoring.
Justin will be vital to the Royals this year. He should've played much more last year, but hopefully he'll get minutes this year. He is a tenacious defender and reminds me of a shorter Keith Downing, a player who does all the little things. A glue guy.
-
Campbell County could surprise some folks this year. They will have 6 seniors led by Jolly and some strong young talent on the bench.
Don't we hear this every year though? All last year I heard about how good Scott and Campbell Co. were, and I never really saw it come to fruition.

I am familiar with Pawsat, Gilbert and Setty. Could you give us some info on Lang, Lang, Manship, Black, Harris and Osborne? What grade, height, position, did they play on varsity, JV or Freshman last year? Are Gilbert, Setty and Pawsat the only ones with varsity experience?
How tall is Black, did he play varsity last year? I always enjoyed watching Barner play. Remember his dunk in the regional finals last year....really sparked the Royals. I hope everything works out for him and his family.
The starters at the beginning of the season will not matter, but at the end of the season, it will be Setty, Pawsat, Gilbert, Justin Lang, and Tyler Black, with Josh Harris, Manship, and Bradley Lang giving minutes off the bench. Osborne isn't ready for the big time yet in my opinion, but he could get some minutes at guard next year to improve his game. He has potential.
Tyler Black very well could be the next big thing at Mason County. He is a beast and his offense will be needed for the Royals this year. He may not start at the beginning of the year, but he will be a key player at the end of the year. BEAST.
Mason County will be young, and will miss Middleton, Downing, and Hamm. They will be very hard to replace, but they will be right in the thick of things at the end of the year.
-
Also, by the end of the year, Jordan Gilbert, Phil Barner, and Tyler Black from Mason Co. will be well known names in the 10th and could make a run at Post Season Top 10. They all have great potential.

Stenzel is the runaway #1 Player in the Region. After that, I think there are several players that are very good. I would say this....
1. Robbie Stenzel
2. Treg Setty
3. Kyle King
4. Vinny Zollo
5. Azrey Crisp
6. Neal Pawsat
Beyond that, I think there are lots of players in the mix.

This is by far the best show on TV. Take it easy and enjoy it.

When it comes to Setty and Zollo I am not the least bit biased and can tell you Zollo is a much better college prospect than Setty. Zollo can do a whole lot more. I don't know if Zollo will go to UK, but if he stays healthy and keeps improving he will easily be a big D-1 player.
Being a better college prospect is one thing, but that doesn't mean he will be a Major D-1 player. Zollo may be able to do more than Setty, but he doesn't do anything as well as Setty shoots.
I don't think Zollo will end up at UK. He may end up at a bigger school, but he won't be anything more than a role player in my mind. That is, unless he greatly improves, which is possible.
-
Zollo borderline low D-1..... He is just a Sophomore and played this past season coming off a broken leg. You were defending Trevor Setty in another thread being able to play at Oak. State as a walk on with Travis Ford, saying he needs to hit the weight room and get stronger.
Do you not think that Zollo is going to get stronger and better in the next two years of high school?
You think Trevor can play at Oak. State and Zollo is borderline D-I....have to disagree with you there.
Trevor is WALKING ON to OK St. He will not be on scholarship. Zollo could be a walk on at a major D-1 team and at some point could become a contributor to a major D-1 team. I just don't see him being an impact player on the major college level. He does have time to improve and could prove me wrong. I hope he does, I have nothing against the kid.
The biggest difference between Trevor and Vinny is that Trevor has one thing that he does extremely well. He can flat shoot the ball. Vinny does several things well (rebound and defend along with others) but no part of his game is as good as Trevors shooting. Vinny does have the size and time to improve.
We are obviously both biased, but that is just my opinion.

Last time IU recruited a Scott Co. kid, it didn't turn out too well. But by all accounts, these are two good kids and could be good enough to play in the Big 10. Good for them.
-
This is more of a recruiting deal and is talking about who is the best prospects, not necessarily the best players at the present time. Based on that I believe both with be D-1 players thus warranting some strong consideration as being top 12 players.
That may be what it is talking about, but I don't think they belong on the list. I think Zollo is a borderline low D-1 player and Euton isn't good enough to play D-1. There is a reason he de-committed from UK... he was out of his league to begin with.
He will have a nice career at a NAIA or D-2 school, but won't see much PT at all if he gets the chance to go D-1.

NO WAY that Neal Pawsat isn't a top 10 player in the region. I would hope that his injury was taken into account with this list.
