  1. T-Fan, I don't believe that is sour grapes as much as everyone finally noticing what is fermenting in the mouths of many ashland student's chants.

They're just preparing for College.

At least it's not as bad as it was when I was in school. You never had to worry about some kid upsetting you with words. You had to worry about getting your head taken off by some drunk 16 year old with a baseball bat, who was upset about his teams loss. Sometimes I forget that America is now the land of the easily offended.

  2. If you notice they stop dunking when the refs come out on the floor and start watching the warm-ups. They can dunk until then. I am not what the official rule is.

    Never really thought about it.

That's a weird rule. Im not sure what's different about dunking during warmups or during a game. The rim feels it all the same.

  3. Let us deal with the facts in your claim.

    1. Nothing was ever proven and law enforcement dropped the charges for a lack of evidence and having an unreliable witness (story kept changing).

    2. If he did indeed have sex with this married woman who was allegedly throwing herself at him, he made a huge mistake and proved to be human as we all are. I don't approve of having relations with anyone elses wife. It is wrong, plain and simple.

However, .... true character is shown thru a pattern of behavior, not one mistake a person may make. I consider myself to be a person with class, however, I have had my share of mistakes, but none of mine were broadcast on the evening news. Also, to my knowledge, there was only one (1) who walked the earth who was perfect, and it wasn't any of us or Chuck Hayes.

But I can think of no other instance (alleged or proven) where Chuck has not handled himself with class and dignity. Can you?

    Perfecto! :thumb:

  4. I am a fan who recognizes beating a team without their All American player and future NBA 1st round draft pick isn't anything to get all slap happy about. But we are desperate for wins now.

So UT is a one man team? Did not know that. Someone should tell Bruce Pearl so he can cancel every game till Lofton can come back.

Your right, it was a terrible win, we should all be disappointed and talking about how the sky is falling. Or it already fell I guess, after UK's first loss of the season. Ah well, maybe we'll go undefeated next year.

  5. If thats all you got thats weak son, weak. You need to go back to the drawing board if your slap happy over a W at home against a team with out an ALL AMERICAN PLAYER (who was speculated to possibly play). Maybe you need to look up what that means. Guess your just desperate for any win at this point. Where was your call outs during the Georgia or Vandy game.. exactly...

Are you really a UK fan, or just pretend to be when they're winning championships?

  6. ^ I went to Duke's website, and UK's website...I suggest you do the same, they are way more accurate.

No need to, as it doesn't really matter, the numbers are basically even. Like I said, I have my opinion and you have yours. Can't you just leave it at that?

  7. I may be out of line, but I have to say this before this thread gets shut down, I don't like this post. As Christians we should not keep score of our generosity. Also words of sympathy during a tragic time do help.

Same problem I have with some of the RH people. They supposedly promote Christianity and a good Christian education. Yet they don't care to slander, bash, and basically call people of other schools trash, but if those people even try to defend theirself it's a 'sin.'

Get out of here with that garbage.

  8. Way to turn another RH thread into an Ashland bashfest.

Why not? It was your Head Football Coach that could not reframe from putting down 15 year old ball players the other night. What has the Administration done to this coach for his actions? Oh, I forgot the school princpal was setting right beside him, laughing at all of his comments at the Rose Hill players. I guess you appove of these actions, because you are from mighty Ashland.:sssh:

Prove it, and maybe they will do something about it. For some reason I don't think you can. I am one of the few people who still believe in inocent until proven guilty, so until someone proves him in the wrong, I stand behind coach Hart. Honestly, the tone of your posts suggest that it is nothing other than sour grapes and hatred for the Ashland program in general. Do you always make a habit of slandering peoples names? Or just if they went to or are involved with Ashland?

  9. Really? Come on dude....geez

    Let's compare:

    Josh McRoberts: 12.9 ppg, 8.15 rpg, 3.95 apg, 2.48 bpg, 1.19 spg

    Randolph Morris: 15.6 ppg, 7.6 rpg, 1.1 apg, 2.04 bpg, .52 spg

    McRoberts has the edge...

My numbers and your numbers aren't the same.. Per rivals.

    Randolph Morris: 16.1ppg, 8.1rpg, 1.1apg, 2.2bpg, .50spg, in 28.4mpg

    Josh McRoberts: 12.6ppg, 7.7rpg, 4.1apg, 2.5bpg, 1.2spg, in 34.5mpg

Other than the assists (which most centers don't average many) the numbers are basically even, though Morris plays 6 less minutes per game, which you fail to take into consideration. You act like it isn't even close. But honestly, I don't think either are "legendary."

Like I said, I'll take Morris' numbers, you can have McRoberts. I have my opinion and you have yours.

  10. To be honest, there were not too many things in the first half to get really excited about. It takes a nice run or a series of good plays, at either end of the floor, for it to get really, really, loud in Rupp.

Very true, a lot of people don't realize it, but that's just the way it is at Rupp. When you go into the game expecting to win, it takes more than just going through the motions to get you super excited. It's the complete opposite for UK football, the fans go in expecting to lose most games, so they get excited over the smallest things.

  11. I thought in Ky basketball, everybody was out to get everybody every time they went on the floor. Why do you think Rose Hill is any different from anyone else.

I wasn't sure if you were directing this at me, or the RH people. But since Gatorlover took it upon theirself to respond for me(poorly I'll add), I'll go ahead and explain my post.

What I meant was some of the RH faithful seem to think that everyone is out to get them, in a sense, off the court. I didn't mean it the way you took it, appearently.

  12. If we put Meeks in for Jasper, and have Bradley run the poing again we have a much better offense out there that can put the ball in the basket, which is something we all can admit is something we struggle at.

Stats say otherwise.. UK is shooting just under 50% and averaging more ppg than they have in several years. It's always nice to have scorers, but IMO a shoot first, pass second player isn't what wins games at the PG spot.

Yeah Bradley is better off at the 2 guard however as I been saying since the start of the year, I think the team would be better off with him at the pg spot, because it actually gives us a guy who can score at the pg spot, which is something we need.

We already tried that once, didn't work out so well.
