Any updates on the status of Nathan Bustle:confused:
Did Bustle get hurt?

Awesome win for the PATS!!! Looks like they have been improving with each game. Anybody got any stats?
-
I don't believe Lincoln has ever beaten Southwestern, Mr. Network will have to verify this though. Should be a really good game. Who are some of Southwestern's key players?
-
Good win for a young Pat's squad. Wish I could of been there. Did anyone step up and become a leader for this game?
-
At Lincoln County, we had one case of it my senior year. I think the coaching staff had to spray bleach and we all had to take all our stuff home and wash it, including pads.

Not trying to be a wise guy, but doesn't a Top 20 rank all but like 14 teams in class 5A?
Good point, I'm just trying to see where Lincoln Co. fits in at.
-
Could somebody more informed than me, take a stab at a top 20?

I am definetly looking forward to the Lincoln v. Mercer game. Its a battle of each schools former head coach, neither of which are too schabby. Should be a barnburner and a rivalry for some years to come.
-
Lincoln's backfield was one of the top 5 in the state last year easily, and I heard that the underclassman had a strong duo as well. will we see the same thing this year?
Spring pratice will sure clear some questions up about that, real soon. I'd look for some names such as Kody Reed and Avery Spicer to be mentioned.

I think the rest of the District is playing for Second Place to the Titans.
Hopefully, the Patriots can give them a good game.
I guess Spring Practice starts Monday. Anybody know what the routine will be?
The boys got their helmets yesterday. I don't expect them to miss a beat when it comes to mercer. I've heard that Mercer is overwhelmingly one dimensional in their offensive game, that could come back to haunt them against larger schools.

In this thread http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/showthread.php?t=115115, I posted this about LC's 2007 schedule:
Series Records
Bell County- This will be first meeting.
Bardstown- This will be first meeting.
Mercer County- Lincoln County leads the 7 game series 6 games to 1.
Southwestern- Southwestern leads the 5 game series 5 game to 0.
Garrard County- Lincoln County leads the 22 game series 14 games to 8.
Rockcastle County-Lincoln County leads the 17 game series 10 games to 7.
Pulaski County- Lincoln County leads the 9 games series 5 games to 4.
South Laurel- South Laurel leads the 3 game series 2 games to 1.
Scott County- Lincoln County leads the 10 game series 8 games to 2.
Hopkinsville- This will be the first meeting.
Combined Record against 2007 schedule: 44-29
I like this schedule, I went to camp with several players from hopkinsville and their coach was their also. He's a tough hard nosed kind of guy who knows his stuff on defense, I am really looking forward to that match-up. The Lincoln-Mercer matchup is also really appealing, I think it will be the birth of a new central kentucky rivalry. The war of words has already been waged several times on here, in fact.

Are you talking about the '07 class that graduated or the '08 class next season? Last years seniors didn't have a great middle school career they were sanwiched in between the two best. I look for more of a team oriented style of play, I actually think this team can be better if they learn to play as a unit, otherwise they might have a little trouble, I've heard good things out of Calhoun's little brother, maybe he can fill the void a little.
-
I've heard there playing in a bowl game up in Bardstown and I'm looking forward to the Mercer game but those are the only two games I know of for sure. Anyone got a complete schedule?
-
Does anyone have news on Trent Calhoun and Braxston Miller or any other Lincoln player playing football at the next level?
-
Was Reagan the back that was about 5'5" and played with a lot of heart?
-
Is there a complete or simi-complete schedule that anyone can share?
-
They lose B. Miller and T. Calhoun their two best players but they have a deep and talented incoming senior class. What does the '07 season look like at the moment?
-
How about coaches from schools like De La Salle (CA.) or Brynes (SC.)?
-
A couple of weeks ago I started a post about the best coaches in Kentucky. I'm a little in the dark about coaches nationally. I was just wondering if any coaches from Kentucky are worth mentioning on the list. The only name I can think of is Rus Propst for Hoover (Ala.), and thats just because they have a T.V. show, lol.

GRC is a good team and I got to root for them since they put my team out:cry: . But Henry Clay looks like they're on a mission.

Good season Pats; the season ended on a sad note but you all made strides that no one ever dreamed except all those involved in the program. Everyone of you all are heros in my book. This is the season we build on and next year will be the first year in a while that a black cloud doesn't hang over our season. Seniors, unlike me, you can look back on your season with honor and cannot question that you gave it your all. Juniors its your turn to lead. Get it done!!!

I see this one working out like the past 10 games before Lincoln jumps on top 21-0 and grinds the rest of the game out to hold on...
Lincoln County 28
George Rogers Clark 7

I know a lot of players read these posts. I hope Lincoln doesn't get big headed over this post. One game at a time is the big thing. Lincoln is talented, but we're not talented enough to garantee wins over 2 quality opponents. No team is, for that matter, every team that is playing this Friday is a good team and is capable of winning, otherwise they wouldn't be here.
-
Is there any important injuries to take note of on either side. I haven't heard of any on the Lincoln side, but is Hope injured or was he pulled?
