It seems to come down to the last second with these two teams...that is what makes it such a great game!

Here in Georgetown/Lexington area..rainy 1 inch or more of rain expected and windy..our game was moved to a turf field Henry Clay's due to Lafayettes field will possibly flood out! Going to be a final regular season game we will always remember..rain and more rain and wind and wind & cold..burrrrrrrrrrr..lol..

:thumb: I liked the idea of new opponents. It just adds more excitement to the playoffs IMHO.

 

Actually, one of the best playoff games I ever witnessed was between 4A Scott County (#1 seed R4D7) and North Laurel (#4 seed R4D8) 2 seasons ago. North Laurel had the lead and just about pulled off this upset. I have no problem with the current 1-4 seeds making it to the playoffs. However, I don't agree with the new alignment and over 80% of the teams making it starting next season, but that's another topic.

:thumb: That was a GREAT game...one I will never forget as well..I sat at the edge of my seat the whole game with the final score ending Scott Co. 22 North Laurel 15.. But a true playoff game it was no doubt! The North laurel fans were very respectful and nice. It does add more exciement when you play other teams from other areas. It should have stayed the way it has been IMHO. I do not care one bit for the new system seems rather boring!:sleep:

This will be ANOTHER game that is forsure! It's at Scott Co.. I know our guys have worked exteremly hard this week and VERY LONG hours from the loss to Lex. Cath. by ONLY 1 touchdown..it was a shoot out all the way till the very end back and forth..I am going to guess it will be the same with Henry Clay only difference is Scott Co. will come out the WINNERS in this one!! High scoring game on both sides..SCOTT COUNTY WINS!!!:jump:

This will be another good game. Scott Co. has 3 back to back tough games..

1st one was Boone Co.which was a WIN..next is Lex. Cath..then Henry Clay..We need to stay focused and keep fighting until the very end of the 4the quarter. :fight:

I think we got to relaxed at Boone Co. late in the game because we were ahead by so much! Then.. we were all biting our nails...stay the course the whole way through SC..Go Fight Win!:fight:

yes..#4 Farris is an awesome player and fun to watch and one that will make you bite your nails that is forsure!! That kid can run with some speed and find holes or make them himself! A good football player!!!:ylsuper:

We will learn from our mistakes..the fumble gave them a TD and the onside kick they recovered got them a TD(Boone Co.) or the score would have been 31-14....:sssh: Scott Co....instead. It was 31-26..STILL the "W" WE TOOK HOME!!!

I don't understand it. For some reason Scott Co. team has a hard time getting

respect or credit and it's not right for the players and coaches.

I believe their first real test will be Henry Clay. That game will tell if we earn it or not.

I know...Not fair. But we will just have to show everyone who we are this year...We proved everyone wrong in 04' and we will again this year!!
