  1. The O-line is obviously the primary problem with the Colonels this season. I believe even with Buckley in there, he wouldn't have been able to go anywhere, as the O-line could do nothing with the NCC D-line. Lack of overall "O" speed is a problem also, as it seemed to me at least, that Isler had to wait and wait for the plays to develop. I am also worried about all the running that the QB has to do to get the plays from the Coach. Seems to me that there has got to be an easier way than having your starting QB, no matter who he is, running back and forth to the sidelines to get the plays.

Finally and since no one else has pointed this out, maybe I am off base, but.....I will say that this years Senior Class at CovCath has to be one of the worst as far as school spirit goes. There were no cheers (yes there was one, but it was a very poor example of the roller-coaster) but at least to me, there was no senior leadership evident in the stands. I was forewarned about the lack of spirit in this class by an 07 senior but....Saturdays game was a all time low....... What gives 08 Seniors? Where is that "With a spirit, that will not die" attitude that most Senior classes have shown over the many, many years at CovCath, with your class?

To me at least, your class was an embarrassment Saturday in the stands! The loudest cheering your class did all game was for the manager who walked by pulling a wagon.... Sad indeed....in such a close game....

I completely agree. Many of the football players are fed up with thier classmates spirits also. Hopefully the football players will be able to bring back the spirit during the basketball season.

  2. He's lookin at 5-8 weeks. Although losing a back of that caliber would be a huge blow to any team in the state, the back up combination of Will Deters and Tyler Lutz is as solid a backup as anyone could have.

Couldnt agree more. BTW covcath is a very reliable source very close and active in the cov cath community.

  3. I've been lifting all my life as well. I played through college. I've seen strong guys. I'm just saying that that squatting that much weight, with proper form, is hard to buy. Bending your knees with 600 lbs on your shoulder as a 17-18 year old is impressive, getting down all the way to parallel...I'd have to see that happen.

    Totally agree.

  4. Triple Crown #4. Long par 4, huge lake in front of the green. The green has ZERO depth. From the tips you are coming in with 5 or 6 iron it seems like, and the ball is normally below your feet, tough hole.

Tip on that hole: Aim left that way you have a little room to play with, or you can go long and just hit it off the back hill. I think number 16 is alot tougher.
