John Michael Mayo from Pikeville was one at the beginning of the season. Does anyone have an update on his status?

This game will hinge on who's QB's Pikeville. If Mayo is back and healthy...the Panthers will take IMO. If not..P-burg will get their first win of the season.

I hear that Mayo won't be back until week 7, if at all. I still like Pikeville 20-6.

Bobby was a volunteer coach with Hillard Howard at Pikeville the last couple of years that Hillard coached at PHS. He has been a teacher and coach in the Shelby Valley area both in the high school and jr. high programs. He is a good man and will bring some good football experience to BL.

Everbody is in. That's the district schedule. It's a joke to go through the district again in the 1st two rounds of the playoffs. Is Elmer Fudd running the show at the KHSAA now?

Heard this game on the radio. Sounded like some freaky plays late in the game.

Pikeville jumped out to a 8-2 lead but couldn't hold it. Johnson Central scores 5 times in the bottom of the 6th to take a 10-8 lead. Justin Anderson delivered a two-out single to tie it in the top of the 7th off of Matt Fyffe. The game remained scoreless until the 11th when Weston Robinson scored Watson Ritchie with a Sac Fly. Anderson pitched the final 6 innings, going 6-0 on the season.

It won't be Pikeville. Pikeville advanced to Applebee's by beating Fairview this past Saturday and will play the 9th/10th winner.

Cyrus pitched for the Bulldogs. Staggs started and took the loss for the Panthers. Ward did a nice job in relief of Staggs, going 3 2/3 innings and allowing no runs. I think Cyrus held the Panthers to only 3 hits. Michaels pitched the 7th to close it out for LC.

Pikeville wins the Panther Classic. Anderson gets the win to go 4-0 on the season. Boyd picks up the save. Mayo gets the game winning hit.

Robert Boyd picks up the win in relief. Justin Anderson drives in the winning run in the bottom of the 8th. Conley started for JC and pitched 6 innings.

Pikeville wins behind the pitching of Justin Anderson. Both teams made numerous errors but both will be a force to be reckoned with by tourney time.

Justin Anderson looked impressive again. He is 2-0 on the season. Will Ward with a big 2 rbi single.

Anybody committed yet? Who is UK looking at in-state?

Justin Anderson goes 4 strong innings allowing only 1 unearned run. Watson Ritchie goes the final 3 for the save. Don't know much about the offense other than Weston Robinson hitting a homerun.
