They are good players and I wish Mason Co had them. But they are a great combo for the Saints.
I think everybody wish they had those two.

What is the word on why the kids quit at Pendleton County?
Which ones.
-
Shouldn't this be on General Discussion. This is for the High School Basketball forum not the intramural basketball forum.
-
This is a similar case in Pendleton County. I just wonder why kids are quiting like they are my guess is there proably not focused and the coach is making it so that only the ones who have heart stay on the team. Has anybody thought of standing up for these coaches I mean almost everyone of you have said I like this coach or this one.
-
Bottomline is Elliott County is the best in the 16th and no one is gonna stop them in the 16th.
-
Pendleton is young but they could have been good if those 4 players didn't quit this year.
-
L.Gallenstein was in foul trouble all night.
Owens & Anderson have college recruiters at almost every game.Centre,Thomas More,Belmont & others just to name a few.
These two are outstanding they should have the second best team in there district this year. How come those two aren't at Mason County? They could be the best team in the state with Owen and Anderson.
-
In the 4th it really could be any team. Teams like Bowling Green, Greenwood, AC/S, Russellville, Glasgow, and Warren Central could qualify as dark horse candidates at this point.
Well I haven't seen Warren Central so I'm just basing this on the fact that they have won the 4th region 7 years in a row. There proably not ever a darkhorse in the 4th region.

Mason County by 30.
About CC that defense is pretty good but not good enough to stop Mason County.

Scotty Hopson--University Heights--Mississippi State--soft verbal

I like LCA a very good team.
-
Wow!!!!!!
I'm shocked congrats NCC.

This game could have been 100-30 had the Mason County coaching staff elected to go that route. Starters played about 11 minutes out of 32 by my count. There were leads of 34-5 and 53-12. Looks like tough times in Falmouth for a while.
For right now but the Florence twins and addition to them is Micheal Walsh are very capable of being the next team to go to state from PC. There gonna be my dark horse to win the 10th in 2011. Agreed most certainly though PC as whole will be going threw tough times in the next 2 seasons for sure. Really though getting beat by Mason County by 40 isn't bad considering they have had 4 players quit on varsity and Miller, Setty and Middleton are all studs.

Josh Sewell is proably one of the best in the sophmore class watch out NCC. I think if Sewell gets in rhythm its lights out.
Trinity by 15.

Worst gym is Augusta I mean your right on top of the court and its hard to find a seat. The best floor is Pendleton County the wildcat at half court looks amazing. Best seating area hands down Mason County.

I'm a big CCHS basketball fan and non of my problems with Reitz ever had anything to do with the teams "not making any noise at the state level". Were not Mason, LexCath or CovCath. I know that the best that they can do would just be making the state tournament. I don't expect them to win state or be ranked in the state. I just want them to be a competitive team and have their good players noticed by good schools who can give them a free education. I dont know of anyone who expects more out of these past and present CC teams.
Maybe you should expect more of your school and coaches. There are many people that have higher expectations.

Will be good to see how this one goes.
-
I am a PC fan and no way would Coach O'Hearn or his kids would of run the score up.
Mason County's program is nothin but a class act period!
By the way did PC's Freshmen start or get to play?
Well said HoopDR.
-
Really?? What CCHS game did you attend?
LCA
Campbell was down by 10 with 4 minutes left and still were slowing the tempo of the game.
-
Doesn't Michael play AAU ball for the Northeastern Kentucky Royals.
-
Yes Corey is at Rose Hill and we are happy to have him. He is a good kid. As for Springsteen, Did you talk to Michael and if you did, did he tell you this is the reason for him not being on the team?
How is Corey doing is playing a lot?

[quote=TEX;2576438]You wrong what has he missed I see nothing now this year there pretty good but they would be better with Coach Reitz. You just don't win the region 2 times. From just having good players this guy made good teams great. You need more research before you say his teams don't play defense.
What's your basis behind this statement? The fact that he has won the region twice doesn't mean that the current team would be better with Reitz at the helm. I would agree that at this stage of the season from looking at the record (7 and 2) that things don't look a whole lot different than the past couple of years, but the difference is the attitude and the makeup of the team as a whole. Your entitled to your opinion ---we'll find out just how different this team is in the month of January
Another thing I might say is this Coach Reitz knows he left a good team he just couldn't not coach his son when offered. Plus I'm not big on this slow down offense code runs its like watching paint dry it takes forever for somebody to shoot. Its not like they don't have good shooters Jordan Parks one of the most underated players NKY can really play they have a good big man in pete albright I think. Coach Reitz's offense would have worked much better than code's.

Apparently not because I have never heard of him.
Well his and 8th grader who did play for Sharp middle School last year. He moved to Rose Hill over the summer maybe he just plays fresh and JV I don't really know. But I did hear someone say he played for Rose Hill.

Well everyone knows the last thing Pendleton County needs is a wreck with players getting heart. This season has pretty much been a wreck for them anyway.
