If Bair had been there , he would have had to score 32 points just to tie the game. Why change the thread to a kid who wasn't even there.
-
Untill you played Mason Co.It will probably consist of three of the top one hundred players in the state. There is also a suprise, the best defensive player in the region. -
Isn't #45 Dakota Euton? Why was he taken or put out? A player has to be able to take the hits . It gets rough in there. But getting mad don't help a thing.
-
Good for Neeley. He is a good player and I was very impressed with his 3 point shooting. He would be a great addition on any bodies team.
-
I know they have a good player in John Cole. I think he is a Jr.Somerset maybe. -
Somerset maybe.
-
They drew for the state All A tournament and the winner of the 14th plays the winner of the 12th.
-
Cody Miller from Knox Co. played AAU with the boys from SV. & JBS last summer.

So Tubby didn't need a guard so he didn't recruit Chris Lofton. How sorry is he now? Many differing levels of D1 play and many different types of players. Anytime a player can receive an athletic scholarship, to play D1 intercollegiate athletics and he's from Kentucky, I'm extremely happy for him.Coaches evaluate talent differently, as most of us fans do. They look for needs and roles on their team, as opposed to comparing to others players from within the state.
Centers are recruited to play defense and provide post play. Point guards, to run an offense, etc....Its about need for that program and not, whom we perceive to be the best or which conference, is stronger.
I say, congratulations to the names mentioned and I hope, more Kentucky high school players, get the accolades and exposure they deserve.
-
I congratulate each and every player that made the list and also all the good players out there, who for some reason didn't make it, just in case there is another Ty out there who got over looked.
-
And I don't care how you divided it or mutiply it or add it, Ty Profit is going BIG time. I never saw any body try to compare big and little and make it come out the same.Who passes out the credibility on this board? If someone doesn't agree with you and yours they have no credibility. Some body got dumped on when Ty Profitt made it with out being on THE LIST. So maybe we shouldn't put much credibility in Smith and Street or Street and Smith or what ever. Some body saw him and forgot to read the list. -

probally couldnt take the heat:banana:

How do you know it was just one? I didn't say the ones on it weren't deserving.Of course but just because one player was incorrectly omitted doesn't mean that the others were not deserving. I know where your going with this and we will obviously disagree. -
Great for you. And YOUR list is worth what? And thanks for the tip on the middle east.Yeah, and the arabs and jews should get along too, your are always going to have prejudices in lists based on whoever does them, for what its worth, I have Proffitt and Van Hoose on MY list (and Pettigrew):thumb: -
Would you agree that there is no way AAU coaches can see all the good players when there is so much pressure from different sources to pick certain kids and give them all the exposure. If the adults would stay true and treat every kid equal, then you might have a list.I agree is it a glaring omission that Profit was left off. -
I believe Ty has signed with a D1 school. The Fighting Irish.
-
Did some one say Street and Smith get their information from AAU coaches? Well they missed Ty Profit. Wind is blowing from the North. Congrats to all the good players who made it.I don't have he magazine. I was too cheap to buy it I just glanced through at the book store. I remember Darius Miller, Dakotah Euton, and Chad Jackson. There were others I believe but I am drawing a blank. -
Congratulations Ty, just goes to show you don't have to be on a list to be seen and move on to play D1. Best of Luck:thumb:It is good to be right. Proffitt has become an Irish. Good to know my sources are generally correct.Congrats Proffitt on becoming Kentucky's current premiere recruit!
So much for Streets & Smith listings. This is proof positive that real ranking experts are currently working on college campus's across the country.

Hazard and Cordia both have old gyms with no parking.
-
What about Osteen and Olinger. Didn't they graduate?Don't count Hazard out. All of the players are back and Lewis Morris will do a fine job as their coach. -
Looks like some teams are playing in both, but 5/3 looks like the better tournament.

You are such a comedian. HaHa The funniest thing I've heard is "the tall person thing" I know the Ashland fans enjoyed that. That would be me. Obviously in your neck of the woods sarcasim and facts are rarely used.I just never realized that for $400 you could get ranked by Bolus, the Hoopscoop, named to the All Area team, named MVP at 2 camps, and named as an Honorable Mention All American by Street and Smith.
In My Opinion, if you think that Jackson and Euton are not that good then that's ok, your wrong but what else is new. It is the tone of your post that reek of jealousy and bitterness that are disturbing. Whether you realize it or not, and I don't doubt for 1 second you don't, you have done everything possible to discredit the accomplishment of two 15 year old kids. I believe that due to the absolute absurdity of your post all you have done is decrease your credibility and increase the awareness level of both Dakotah and Chad. I'm sure I speak for Mr. Euton when I say thanks for being there. Your efforts have been far more valuable than anything $400 could buy. :thumb: :ylsuper:

I was just using Wolfe because that was the only game Stepp didn't play in. I doubt if any of these teams could win by 26 against each other without one of their good players.Off night for Gilbert...major ON night for Cox. Basketball is just like any other sport. Some nights you have good games, some nights you can't hit the rim. Wolfe did'nt really match up with JBS last season despite a loss by 26 points. Compare JBS to a team such as Hazard or PCC, if JBS can beat one of those two, or even Powell or Lee in this case by 26, without Stepp...they deserve to win Region. IMO they would'nt do bad in the state tournament. -
Don't get me wrong, Stepp is a very good player and they have to have him to win , but you said they were nothing without him, and I am telling you they ain't no one man show.
Mason Co./Rose Hill Scrimmage

I thought this thread was about the Mason Co. vs Rose Hill scrimmage where mason Co. won by 32 points. What has that got to do,with Bair being seen more at Rose Hill and why would he want to be, when they put a player on the bench for hitting another player in the face 3 times and got beat that bad?
