who will be the top players from DIXIE, COV CATH, and HIGHLANDS?

Dixie is in today's Post, and there's a good article on Eastham. My only question though, is Benson getting moved to OLB? I thought he was one of the top MLB last year as a junior.

That is a great article on him. The post is wrong Benson is the MLB and Eastham is the OLB.

Don't know why Day will not be playing, I would imagine Wulfeck is still having shoulder problems, sure miss him at DB/LB. These are not the only seniors that may not be there this year. Has anyone heard if Maxwell will be playing this year?

No but i hope Maxwell does play, I enjoy seeing him play.

So was I. He would help dixie out alot with his size ans speed.

This years Dixie's Team should have alot to build on for sure . With 28 Sr's coming back , with most of them getting good playing time the past 2 years . The " D " should be very strong this year . Looking at last year , it should look something like this : Day , Ayres , Koski , Sanders , Freeman and Walls on the D - line this year . There's one or two Jr's and soph's I think that could play into the mix . At LB's this year , you have two , 3 yr starters Benson and Eastham back . Also you have Wulfeck and Vu that have started or played alot of games . Maxwell could push Big time for time too ! Theres another Jr I like , but I can't remember his name , Sorry . At Db's you have Johnson , Carter , Jett , Molony , Brock and Dettmer that should be a very solid group this year ! ( Man , would I love to see Gibson in there this year ! ) They just need to stay disciplined and play TEAM ball !!!! This should be a fun group to watch this year !:thumb:

Day and wulfeck are not returning for there SR year :cry: not sure why. and Eastham will only be a two year starter not three.

Ryle just looked like they wanted it more then Dixie, but didnt someone say koksi was going to play? Mosier did a great job as QB for the first time too but just fell short.

Dixie isnt a one or two man show like ryle. They play as one. even though Brinking might not play tonight doesn't mean anything, just watch for players like Dettmer, Molony, Neugent, and the whole Dixie OFF line to step it up tonight

It was a hard fought game, but there is always next week dixie. For the people who think dixie cant play on mud thats a joke.

Any reason why? He went out hurt in the Campbell County game, but he came back in and finished the game.

I'm not sure but something about his knee or hand. I saw him go out two times so i'm not sure, but im trying to find out. If not, we'll find out tomorrow night.

That is true. Dixie does have alot of talent, size, and speed but this late into the season i dont see someone filling his spot thats ready for this big of a game. My vote is DIXIE ON TOP still :dancingpa

Has anyone heard anything about dixie's star linemen koski??? :eek: Last i heard he was going to be out for this week but be back on monday.

DIXIE! you got to love them Dixie boys, but how does there line look on O and D?

I'm not saying that Beechwood is going to be a push over by any mean. i just dont hear any big names for them next year. All of Dixie game will be hard this year and i hope the Dixie boys can end there lossing slide to Boone.

I can't wait till this game, but who does beechwood have that will scare Dixie in any way? Dixie's got almost everyone comming back. bricking-QB, Gibson-WR, benson-MLB, belbot-LG,Marty M-HB dont know how to spell his last name sorry,and Koski which played RG i would love to see this kid play TE this year ive seen many of his move by seeing him play for the last 6 years. The kid can know's how to use his size good too. :laugh:

Yes, I know, I'm going to miss seeing all of them playing on fridays night. But all we can hope for is that the JR's and Soph's will do it right in the off season...like hit the weights and keep in condition. COLONELS, just work hard in the off sesson and go 15-0 and be ready for BOONE next year.
