That's interesting. Is Glasgow a better job?

Although it's not by a wide margin, I would say in recent years that Glasgow is the better job. The Scotties certainly just completed a very rough year but, there appears to be some good young talent coming up. And you are always going to have good athletes to work with at Glasgow.

The open Glasgow job has officially been filled by James Willett after he resigned last week from Allen County-Scottsville.

Kind of surprised. Thought CAL had a good chance at an upset. They must've spent themselves last week against DeSales.

 

For anyone who was there, I'm guessing the Scotties eliminated their turnover issues from last week?

Actually, the Scotties had three turnovers tonight, two of them coming on muffed punts when kids were just trying to be too aggressive and make a play. But Glasgow's defense again came up huge tonight, shutting out CAL by holding them to minus 21 yards rushing (including sack yardage), forcing five turnovers and getting six sacks. After struggling offensively against Bardstown last week, the Scotties got back on track tonight and looked more like the team they have been all season. As strong as Glasgow's offense has been at times this year, it is the defense that has carried them as of late. They are one of just three teams in the state that is yet to give up 100 points to their opponents this season.
