I just got back from Highlands and the rumours are flying. There were 2 lawyers in our group who said that the appeals judge who ruled against Mitchell today was from Boyle land. There are 2 Northern Ky appeals judges and it wasn't one of them. i can't believe Smith would stoop so low. Go Birds :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

It will still be going on for months. No matter what the outcome. Just like the Prez election in 2000 you will have a bunch of people on both sides of this for awhile.

But since they were 0-10 they shouldn't have qualified for the playoffs and it keeps getting deeper.

So the way I'm looking at it they don't forfeit the playoff games in order to keep from having to back up and change the entire playoff setup and this will still allow a championship game to be played.

It is still deabteable whether they would be 1-14 or 5-10 (with a win) because they may be able to count their playoff wins.

I do remember reading in a thread earlier in the year that this result was possible. I guess everyone had just figured due to the length of time that it was over.

But why did it take so long?

With all the court battles it's beginning to sound like Florida in 2000.

I agree but I really thought Boyle would win this one anyway. And this would only help.

Watusi if this is true it's going to be very interesting to watch all week long.

If this is true from what I've heard on here about the kid I think this would just about close the deal for Boyle anyway.

I bet they'll be all over it no matter what the result.
