Congrats to Warren Central on a good season and to the Royals for representing the 10th well.
Micah Turner was named player of the game. He stepped up as a senior is supposed to. Browning stepped up big with the loss of Middleton. A great game to watch from begining to end.

Don't you think that if the coaches felt Mason had such an advantage the tourney location would have changed long ago?? The horse is dead, quit beating it!!
Congrats Royals, good luck on Thursday!
-
Can someone please provide the all tournament team.
Thanks
I stuck around for a while and the all-tourney team was not announced.
Darius had 22. Middleton had 18.
Congrats to all the teams in the region tournament and to Mason for their championship. See ya at Rupp on Thursday!

PC will probably never have success like they have seen over the last three year ever again.
That's quite a strong statement. I'll give you the fact that Pendleton County has enjoyed three consecutive seasons that were out of the ordinary for the program, but to say that we will never ever have success like that again is, for lack of a better word, ignorant. And while the fan base here on BGP may slack off after this year, Pendleton Co. always has had and always will have a very loyal fan base.

Wow, what great recognition for Pendleton County! Congrats to all of the guys and Coach Biggs!

There is an option that nobody has voiced yet. If they have I missed it.
To have the opening round at two sites. The fieldhouse usually does not fill up for those games and the region would not be losing any money. Then meeting at the fieldhouse for the semifinals and the final when you would need the seating. This way everyone wins!:thumb:
KingSize, yours is a good idea, but there is still potential for a lot of travel time with a blind draw. Example: Brossart v. Montgomery, Clark v. Scott I've kept quiet on this one up until now, but I really think moving the tourney from the Fieldhouse would be a huge mistake.

I think Davis had 29 pts, according to the PA after the game.
-
Pendleton had a nice crowd, but that's no surprise. I'm sure it will be much larger Friday night though.
-
The game times are the same as they were last year when the gym was cleared between games.
-
1996... I hope you will acknowledge that fouls can make a big difference in a tight game.
-
If I heard correctly (difficult to hear over the crowd), 64-53 final
-
:10 to go.... coaches empty the benches
-
64-53 w/ :22 to go
-
:40, Mains @ line for 1 + 1
-
1:09, 60-53 Pendleton lead. Fouls are now tied @7
-
Just relaying the info I'm given by my source at the game.
-
3:51 left to play, PC up 55-47. Elrod and Elliott both have 4 fouls. PC has 6 fouls to Harrison's 2.
-
Tie game, 40 all at the end of the 3rd.
-
Pendleton leads 36-28 at half-time. Elrod has 3 fouls for PC, Davis is playing and doing pretty well along with Dustin Bishop. That's all the info I have, I'll let you know when I get more.
-
The game had yet to start at around 8:20. The doors to the gym had been closed, reopened for a little while, and closed again. I should get an update at half-time at least, and I'll let you know.

I can't make the game tonight. Does anyone know if Cynthiana's radio station still broadcasts the games?
-
Congratulations to Tyler! The recognition is very well-deserved for a wonderful young man.
-
I'm looking forward to a great game tomorrow night. I'm gonna go with PC by 4 in another close one. I'll see y'all there!
-
Highfield, we get to Cynthiana via 32. If that's the route you take... once you pass the hospital in Cynthiana and get to the bottom of the hill, make a left. (Not sure what street it is.) This street should take you past Ken's New Market and will lead you up another hill and around to the high school.

Congratulations to Coach Biggs although I know he will be missed in Pendleton County.
Has the announcement of the new head coach been made? I heard it would be made official today.
