Leslie trades places with Lee and gets the win at home. Two very good teams and if they happen to play again that game will more than likely be tight as well.

3-1 Leslie

I believe the district is at knott central and the region is at powell.
-
It was 12-6

Nice win Eagles, even better knowing that you had 3 starters out.
-
Just hope Leslie can get their two starters back soon.
-
Remember two of Leslie's top players are out and may be out for a couple of weeks. But other's are doing a nice job feeling in, keep it up Leslie.

can someone direct me to the latest poll

Who pitched for Leslie and PCC??
Morgan for Leslie and Couch for PCC

Congratulations to Riley. He is a good kid and an even better ball player.
I appreciate what you are saying but disagree. Riley IS the best all-around HS baseball player I have ever seen (and I have seen a lot over the last 25 years); however, having known him since minor league baseball I can tell you with certainty he is an even better person. Riley, it has been an honor knowing you.

Where at on the site can you find them though?

Actually it was 15-5 and done in 6. Ryan Howard pitched 4 and 2/3 for Leslie then Riley Hendrix closed it out. Leslie didnt look nearly as good as they have, hopefully it was just an off day.

Leslie wins rather easily. Morgan pitched a 1 hitter and struck out around 10 including a great hitter in John couch 3 times. Quentin also helped his cause by blasting a two run homer off of losing pitcher Ron Noplis. Gavin Wells also hit a 2 run shot for the Eagles. A great all aroung game for the Eagles with excellent defense behind of Morgan. Also a good game at the plate they hit the ball hard all night but usually right at a Perry Co. player. To Perry Central's credit they never quit and made some nice plays that kept this game from being a lot more lopsided.

Hats off to the two Leslie fans that came down on the floor and congratulated the Jackson City fans and players. Those two gentlemen displayed a lot of class and it was sincerely appreciated.:thumb:
thanks from the dad of 5eagles5. it was a great game. i think i'm more sad that our seniors careers have ended than i am with the loss. to leslie 6 seniors, it has been a great ride. you should be proud of what you have acclompished and the joy you have brought to your parents, family, friends and community. to jackson city, congrats on your victory and the way your team and fans conduct yourself.
-
Thank you as well, either way I want the winner of this game to go on and win region.
-
Remember all Leslie fans do not represent the team and their mentality. The same is true for any school so dont think it is Leslie's team that are believing and saying these things. I know these kids and i do believe they will be ready to play. At lest they better be because IMO Jackson City is the most dangerous team in the tournament...especially if they are hitting.

Leslie is not overlooking anyone, he is not a Leslie fan.

patman, will all games be aired live on 107.1? thanks.

Yes, Fetters didn't play much last year but improved greatly over the summer. How many players did Leslie lose last year? I picked Leslie to win the region before the season started. They have played inconsistant maybe because of injuries. I have alot of respect for the Leslie players and coaches. I am pulling for my Bobcats though to pull the upset.
Leslie lost 2 players. Jake Asher (Point Guard) & Chuck Baker (2 Guard/3 Point Specialist)
