  1. Why wouldn't the kids at Henry Clay stay there?

Why Southwestern before Pulaski County? Are you hearing what I am hearing about more Canadians headed to Southwestern?

    Why Lexington Catholic?

Catholic has a presence inside, and are expexted to better at gaurd this year. Henry Clay Rumor mill and you know you live close enough that this buch of parents are a handful. Southwestern four kids return if im not mistaken and a proven coach... Looks like the Canadians will invade several more Ky schools this spring!

  4. This is false he played and started for the Scott County JV team in the state AAU tournament at the KBA. We played against him also I saw him come off the bench for them in some varsity games in the same tournament. True this has been in the works for a while now though. I started hearing he was going to HC in May.

Thats incorrect he did not play any this summer not even at AAU for Scott Co!

  5. I dont know if Scott co will ever be real down. Losing one starter from last year takes a little of the rebounding away. They play such an uptempo style and everyone of the starters can handle the ball very well. Their incoming sophomore class went 30-1 last year. The PRP and Scott Co was a classic. The Panthers split with Trinity this summer. I think Station has so much talent but it looks like there is no chemistry there like last year. I dont know if some of kids kids are coachable. Saw Coach Allen call several plays and they ran what they wanted. I saw Lafayette this week they are missing alot of pieces. I hope Coach Mendenhal can get them on the same page. Losing Snoop to Bourbon hurt some.

Back to Louisville...shuffling the teams in the 6th and 7th is bad news for some teams. Leave PRP in the 6th and they walk away with the region this year. Moore was supppose to be good but not this early. Dont know how much to tell on Saturday at Derek Smith. I heard it was very sloppy in the final four and final. Teams were exhausted playing so many games to get to the final. From my understanding there will be several teams coming to Lexington for state because of the format on Saturday at Louisville. Thats why PRP came to state. Has anyone heard how the Frankfort tournament went this week.

  6. I will have to reply on a few of these comments. The temperature in these large multipupose buildings and I have been to several seem to heat up around one in the afternoon. It starts nice and cool and when it fills with people it gets warmer. AC does work...Sunday was very nice. My take on the Referree camp. There are some problems with many camps I see like this and there are alot of good things done also. There always seem to be a few refs that try to overstep their boundaries as do a few coaches that try to bully the greener refs. I am thankul there are camps like this. I can only imagine if there were no camps to make officials better. This is summer ball its about getting better for both. We make this tournament very affordable. It was a fun four days. Only one no show. With over 60 Varsity and JV squads you are gonna have a few problems. I hope that South Laurel can make the call soon. There seems to be alot of politics involved in this decision.

  7. These are the teams that have committed. I expect at least 12 more teams to enter by Monday. All scores will be posted after each day on http://www.kyaaubasketball.org for

next weekends tournament. Admission Fee is $7 per day or Weekend pass is $18. LCA may be used as a sixth court if needed.
