When you get to Harlan coming off 119 from Pineville the traffic lights are numbered. Go to light 12 and turn right. You can't miss it from there.

I thought the refs did a very good job in the 5a final. My only small complaint is the same one I had all year: late whistles. Seems to lead to alot of needless pushing and shoving when the plays are clearly over.

overall I thought they did a great job!

We loved watching the game at Wku, much better than papa johns! I guess we got lucky and parked right next to the stadium in the garage and we were out within ten minutes of the final horn!

I don't understand this talk of too far to travel! As a lifelong Highlands fan, my dad and I (my uncle too before he passed) have traveled many, many miles across this state to see games! True fans go to the games if at all possible!

Some of our best times have been driving to and watching games!

Back to the game, I thought Pulaski had some good skill players, but as most thought, they were unprepared for the speed of the birds!

Number 24 for pc looked like he deserved a few touches earlier in the game.

I am a huge birds fan, but lets give pc some credit! They did win their first regional title this year and got the first taste of what it takes to compete for a state title. Hopefully they will learn from this game, maybe upgrade their schedule and some day in the future will compete and maybe win this game!

Bardo played very little tonight. Highlands defense adjustments at the half was the difference! Well the kids listening and performing the changes!!

Also pretty sure 29 for the birds had an int.

Cov. Cath did not get one penalty the entire game that I can think of. That right there just seems alittle strange. :confused:

I give the Birds all the credit in the world. I just hate people saying if such and such would happened it'd been 33-7. Well, if such and such happened St. X would've won. I'm just saying we can do hypotheticals about this game until December, but the game was still 12-7.

Great game!!!! Some of the best defenses I have ever seen!! Any word on bardo or the injuried X player?

I thought the Birds looked crisp in the first half. Nice job without Collinsworth playing. The second half was about as dull as I have seen! Lots of reserves in for Highlands.

Ps: It was nice to honor Mr. Fennell and Mr. Rice before the game!
