I believe in the importance of teachers. But the American economy is built on supply and demand. When we run into a teaching shortage and wages need to be raised to attract them, I'm sure salaries will be raised. Right now i know of numerous people that have teaching degrees that cant get a job because the market is flooded. Nursing used to be the same way, now nursing is an attractive field because their pay is higher.

I appreciate what they do. But saying that. No one is forced to become a teacher. If you don't agree with the pay or responsibilities....go into another field.

NCC basketball should show class like the football program and there coach.

All year with coach's dancing on the floor after games. No wonder that sport doesn't get the same support as football.

I believe the defense has been playing it's best ball as of late. The offense with it's turnovers and inability to move the ball on occasion has put its defense in some difficult situations. If the offense can live up to it's ability, I think it should be a good state final!

I have coached Grant, I have coached against him and also have watched him from the stands as a fan. That kid has worked his butt off to improve his basketball skills. He developed himself, with encourgement from his father(like all good dads). No one else had to.

Him and Sean have a great future at NCC and deserve every accolade they may achieve!
