^^^Prestonsburg is going to have to beat somebody to even be considered.
You have a point, but Sheldon Clark was ranked top 10 week 1 and they got stomped by Prestonsburg last year.
-
Prestonsburg has to be in there over SC.

I'm rooting for the Bobcats, but I think that JC matches up a lot better with BL than did Pike Central.
JC - 65
BL - 56

Prestonsburg by 10.

Prestonsburg swept the 58th winning, Girls, Boys, and Cheerleading.
Congrats

Tinch, do you know what the stats were on Lewis?
I think he had 25, I heard he and Sean had 58 combined points. (This is what Freddy J. told me so who knows.)
Gish, I think the highlight will come on WYMT at 11:20. You many be able to find out more from there.

Prestonsburg just played like everyone knows they can tonight. They could have broken 110 points, but Coach Crisp pulled the starters with 5 minutes left. Congrats Prestonsburg, and great season South Floyd.
Sean Leslie had 33 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 blocks. (Unofficial)

Leslie is the most underrated player in the 15th.
-
The only thing that I don't like about it is when the court is set up, the seats are actually a good distance away from the court, and you can only sit behind one goal because it's in the shape of a horseshoe, unless they set up some seats.
-
I don't think anything is wrong with them, they aren't playing the greatest, but Hazard is a tough team. They will have it together come tourny time.
-
They both are playing really well.. Leslie had 8 blocks, but I'm not sure of any other stats.
-
Is Leslie being recruited by anyone?
Leslie is a great basketball player, but his real game is golf. If he goes anywhere on scholarship it will be for golf.
-
Prestonsburg, coming off a good win against SC.
-
Morgan Co. is to high.
-
The game was played at Pike County Central. P-burg did take the to 2 OTs, but it was the worst game they have played all year.

I also think Lawrence will be strong and well coached, but so is JC, Paintsville, and SC. It is a toss up among those teams. I think AC - at the beginning - will be a step ahead though. They have a nice group of seniors who have started, played together, and succeeded for a few years. They have some good pitching as well. May not be above Pikeville, but definitely on the same level as Lawrence and the others. As for P-burg, they will be very good once again, but this is the P-burg team that AC beat 18-4 in the first round of the district. AC has returned nearly their entire starting lineup, and their entire pitching staff from the end of last season.
Prestonsburg also beat AC.

We know, Paintsville is the best yada yada yada......................
Right Nothing But Net ?
I'm sure LC would disagree.
-
this is not accurate. Prestonsburg hit the shot to tie the game sending it in to overtime. JBS led by as much as 13. There were many fouls , many walks, and a lot of time consumed .
Just what I was told by a Prestonsburg player.
-
Prestonsburg led by 4 with 20 seconds left, but JBS fought back to tie it and took the victory in OT.
