I have never in my lifetime see a CCH defense this subpar. I hope it is fixable, but if not CCH will have to score 75 to beat Highlands this year

I agree. Dixie wasn't running many different offensive plays in the 1st half but CCH had no answer on D. Side note, Brossart cost the kids some yards to start the second half by not getting out of the locker room in time. Bone headed coach!

Personnaly as a Highlands fan, I was more worried when Rodenberg took the helm. Ray was a great coach but I felt his time had come and maybe passed. Rodenberg had an exceptional team in the 2006 team and I would have like to have seen what he could have done with the 2007 team. That would have told me alot about his coaching abilities. Brossart I like. Give him time, be patient, he is going to be a coach that the kids will respond to and respect and he will build a coaching staff around him.

I think you sum it up very well. Coach Ray built the program to what it is today and made Covington Catholic a football name known throughout the commonwealth. I believe Brossart came into a rough situation with the large amount of seniors leaving from the 06 state champs. He has my full support moving forward!

Coach R is a great offensive football coach but it will be interesting to see how his defenses perform against the best competition in the world if he gets the Moeller job.

I agree. It was no secret that he always wanted a head coach position in the GCL. It was interesting he went to RB from CCH instead of staying at CCH until a GCL spot opened for him. Good luck coach and thanks for adding a title at Cov Cath.

I noticed in the ESPN article a funny part of the contract. It noted that his kids will get free tuition to LSU. I don't think a guy making that kind of money each year is worried about saving for his kids college.

I agree with your statement somewhat. They mentioned yesterday during the game that only seven players remain from the Tyrone era. This tells me that Weis does have his own recruits.

Tyrone Willingham was 15-10 after two years, 21-15 overall at Notre Dame and that got him fired.

I think you're right about the hype. The schedule is the culprit. The dist games should be the last games of the season. Not the middle.

I agree. CovCath vs. Highlands in the last game of the season was a great idea. I wish they could schedule it like that again.
