  1. I agree with Ram too.

I have always followed Lincoln Co. Football. I Love football period ! Little league , High School, College! Loved my time that I got to play. We is very appropriate if your with the team good or bad. You will here alot of people say we when the winning and program is good , but when the times are hard and the loses are piling up they seem to use they. The true fan that supports their team sure has every right to say ( We ) . alot of people need to remember these are young men playing a game that they love. Winning or Losing should not have an impact. I just wanted to add that to what has been said!

There's nothing like Friday nights! CC

  2. 2 very different cases. From what I understand with Danville its was a paper work problem and then the kid was able to play . With the Mitchell kid didnt the KHSAA rule him ineligible for different reasons! Anyone know?

This is ridiculous!! I want Mitchell to play. I think he is the best player on Highlands. It would be a shame for a kid to miss out on this opportunity after playing on season. Once again kids are potentially punished because adults can't agree on the rules. Danville forfieted 2 games because a KHSAA form was ambiguous at best.
  3. Didn't the KHSAA rule on this before the season started!

The way I understand it (which is a layman's understanding), HHS would forfeit any games Mitchell played in after the injuction if the Court of Appeals held up the KHSAA original ruling. This was covered in the original threads on the case. The temporary injuction does not supercede the original KHSAA ruling if it is later held up in the appeals court. That is why we all speculated about the decision to play Mitchell or not, it was a gamble that has big consequences.

This should be interesting to say the least.
