Mercer in a close one.

Does anyone know Mason's overall record as head coach? Did he win at Nelson? Too many fans worried a bout winning 5 or 6 games, bottom line does his team look well coached regardless of talent ????
20 - 35
2002 6-5
2003 6-5
2004 7-5
2005 0-10

#44 James Johnson very strong runner, Alex Guay # 25 passed the ball well ,not sure of the stats.

Any word on the teams, I didn't make it overthere.

Do you have the time an location?

The refs robbed Mercer of a possession there onside kick did not go ten yards it went five at the most.
It was more like 8 yards, but that games is over now. If the team played the first half with as much heart as thay played the second half, We would be talking about a blow out not a loss.
Hats off to Dexter Banks he's a heck of a football player!

Mercer Co. is a young team with a new Coach. I dont look for a blow out but, Mercer could start the year 0-4.

Who is Scott Bugg? Where does he coach now?
He's a teacher already in the Mercer Co system, he was offensive cordinater for Harrodsburg High School. He's a good person, good teacher , and a good coach!

How about Scott Bugg?

:rolleyes:I think "woody" did a fine job...

I was told "He's gone, Thank god" by a member of his staff.

Letcher is tough place to play.
They have one of (if not THE) nicest facilities around, but it is long trip to get there, I mean you have to be going there, you can't get lost and end up there.
Letcher is just a tough place to play.
Letcher +3
The game is at Mercer, Thay have nice place also look it up.

To all the Perry Co folks. The young man, Amis, is an outstanding player with a heart as big as a building. I hope everybody there is as proud of him as we were impressed by him.
Wow What a Football player :thumb:

Hopkinsville wins a thriller at Mercer County. My source is upset at Marty Jagger's decision to go for 2 when Mercer scored to make it 41-34. Had Mercer kicked and gone up 8, it would have at least made it a little more difficult for Hopkinsville to have to score a TD and get the 2 pt conversion to tie instead of them just having to score and kick the xp to tie. All in all it seems to have been a great game with Mercer leading throughout the entire game until the TD pass by Hopkinsville in OT after the Mercer field goal. Tough loss for the Titans. I look forward to seeing them next Friday.
He didn't go for 2 it was a bad snap.

Wasn't there quarterback one of the ones who walked out? Also if he's not playing sports at all who's the backup?
I think its Trent "Dunn" ? not sure.

I have no problem with the coach or the staff. Last year the team was young and some of them might have been a little hard headed. The team will be better this year, Keep up the hard work it will payoff.
