If they can land Cook, he would be the number one option. Steve Adams would be second in line imo. Justice would be an interesting choice, but I doubt he would have any interest in leaving Pikeville?

12th region has two region sites in Lincoln and Pulaski. Pulaski has the best gym for hosting the 12th region tourney. Mercer has the 2nd best gym for hosting the 12th region.
oh, but that atmosphere at LC just hits different.

Coach Jackson has one heck of a resume. He also has some heartbreaking losses in his career when I think he was the better team in the finals. 2015 was a tough one as well.

Had a feeling this was going to happen all year. Kept saying Hazard is the favorite but don't count out them Bobcats. Too much talent! The Collins kid is a freak athlete.

West 58-53 to big and physical.

is there a live video or just radio?

It’s questionable because the kid on the other end was mugged and nothing called, then you have two refs call two different calls after that.
one had a carry the other a foul.. Also giving Hazard that timeout late when the ball was rolling out of bounds. Not a great night for the officiating crew.

Classic game! Sperry is one tough dude and Collins is a beast. Congrats to Hazard on a great season just came up a little short and maybe a questionable foul call at the end.

I like West 58-53 in the first matchup. I think their size and physicality plays a huge factor in this one. in the second semi I like PC 66-55 MCC does not have enough firepower.

Lincoln, West, PC, MCC. Semis I’ll take Lincoln and MCC. MCC pulls off the upset and beats Lincoln in the finals to win the 12th this year.

2014. 29-3. Time flies! Didn’t think it was that long ago. But he was fired after one season…
29-3 and get canned... WOW.

FWIW, Lincoln is 4-1 at home against Boyle in district tournament games since Jackson took over; 3-1 against Boyle at Boyle in the district tournament. Oddly enough, Lincoln is only 1-2 in home games against Boyle in the regional tournament.
Boyles 2015, 2021 region wins keeping it a rivalry. I’m sure LC would trade a few of those districts for those two wins instead

why were they playing in the first round?

Another disappointing loss for Spencer after another great regular season only to fall short in the district tournament. In the last 7 seasons the Bears have went 137-53 in the regular season for a .721 winning percentage. In those 7 years they have only made the regional tournament one time in the 2018-19 season where they lost the district championship went on and won the first game in the regional but lost in the semis. Also 4 of those 7 years they won 20 or more games in the regular season but lost in the opening game of the district tournament.

They key for Lincoln to make it to region at this point is getting Colton Ralston going again. In this stretch where they have struggled, he has struggled offensively. Give him credit because even through these struggles he has kept his head up, defended, rebounded, and passed extremely well. They need his scoring, especially from the 3pt line, to escape this tough district.
Agreed. LC will be ready to go Wednesday though no matter what Jeff Jackson will have them prepared.

will there be a stream for this game or just radio?

Super talented group of players. I believe this is why there is so much parity in the region this year. Every team has a few guys they can count on to deliver should be a fun Region tourney.

IMO Sparrow would be the last option out of the coaches that have been listed. He won a national championship, but the competition wasn't that stout.
