Because on most nights he will have trouble posting up that close to the basket and other nights he will have trouble catching the ball.
I knew Dynes’s number 1 fan would post. Let’s add some stats to this:
Dynes FGM 126 70% 3rd in state
Krohman FGM 136 47%
And yet SK lives and dies by the 3. Won’t even address 4 he just hates Dynes. You are only good to him if the player scores points.
Mojocat how many times did Oldham drive into the paint and changed direction after getting blocked a couple of times? Lol

Bingo on the shooting. I was at the game, SK committed a lot of fouls that were foolish fouls. A number of the SK turnovers were just from lazy passes, should have been prevented. I really can't say SK gave the game away.
I was at the game too and I consider those TO just giving a good team points. I would have to watch the film again but how many fast breaks off of TO did Collins score off of?

Like I said I am just an outsider watching but I was expecting to see a more dominant game from him with his height vs Walton, but the top performance was Krohman by far. He is a true game changer.
As for the pic it was just funny out of all the dunks last night he posted that one and captioned it can’t be stopped.
What you consider dominant is much different than my dominant. My guess is your dominant revolves around points. My dominant revolves around both ends of the court. There have been many a game this year where the other team did not scored in the paint. I think even 2 games where the opponent did not even score below the arc.
He doesn’t have to score to change the outcome of a game. You ain’t going to win games if you can’t score on the inside.

SK should pull away with free throws the last 40 seconds. Krohman was the most impressive player on the court by far. Dynes is tall that’s it. Same as last year still plays extremely soft for being over 7’.
LOL soft? 17 pts, 15 Rebs, 3 blocks. Hope he plays soft the rest of the season. I will make sure I mention it to him when he gets home tonight.

SK must have won because Elder was without their star player. No way it was because they are playing good ball.

Do you happen to know how many points he’s averaging?
11 per game. I had him for 8 in DH game, official had him for 10. 16 vs CC, 10 vs DH, 7 vs Holmes.

Both teams probably did not look inside as much as they would have liked. But the bigger issue in high school basketball is finding guards who know how to feed a true big.
That’s coaching.

I did not see that much of a difference.
Both teams are guard oriented and did not look for Dynes or Gibson much. I heard a lot about HC not looking for Gibson because they were guard first, so I was surprised to see SK doing the same.
Both teams have been like that for years. SK looked for Dynes several times and connected. I don’t think they looked for Gibson once. Coaches just don’t know how to use big guys.

Have to say the match up went to Dynes.
