Running clock first quarter.
Was waiting for this. Pretty sure you sit around all day thinking of ways to bad mouth Ryle on here.

I've been an official, you don't need to explain to me how difficult the job is.
10 to 3 in penalties is in no way "down the middle."
Is it not possible that one team committed more penalties than the other? Or is football just strictly subjective now?

Watched the game 1s where in the entire game when SK scored.
One of SKs scores was a defensive score - so Ryle D gave up 16.

In my opinion, generally speaking using the CCH/Highalnds score as a comparison when comparing to the rest of the region is not a good one to use. In my opinion this game is an anomaly. This is one of the most heated rivalries in the state and usually the underdog team that year (whoever that might be) usually raises the level of their game. Where as either team may not have that same level of intensity against a Conner, Cooper or Boone Co. team. There are times when Highlands has had a far superior team and CCH played way over their heads and made it a close game and vice versa. This year I think both teams are fairly evenly matched, but the game intensity for both teams was pretty high. Not sure this is a good representative for either team.
I think that makes sense. I also feel that somewhat reflects the Ryle/Dixie games the past few seasons though. Those two teams have become a hotly contested rivalry.

Not sure what to think about this game. I think about comparing the Dixie scores for CCH and Ryle, 28-6 and 13-12, respectively, and think that CCH should be able to pull it out. However, the major offensive struggles in other games, such as against HHS, have me much less confident. In all honesty I don't think I would be surprised by any outcome, outside of a blow out either way.
The same could be said about comparative scores against HHS right?

Turns out SKs "too much offense" was just empty threats. Ryle completely shut down SK in the 4th quarter with multiple straight 3 and outs.
Upon further review, the ship is indeed still sailing.
