Take away their district play- which they have no control over. (They are in a 6 team district which only leaves 5 non district games)
2 (6A TEAMS) - McCracken & Henderson = Henderson has won 5 of the last 7
1 (5A TEAM) - Graves 2 of last 5
1 (2 A Team) State Champions - Mayfield has defeated Tilghman 17 of last 18
1 (1 A Team) - Was in the finals three years ago!
Looks very similar to the same schedule they have played for the past several years give or take!

Has their 2024 schedule been released yet?
It should be a repeat of last season, most schools do 2-year contracts!

I would think this is about as good of a hire as they could hope for, congrats coach!

This is about as good of a hire as Barren County could have hoped for, CONGRATS Coach.

Todd has improved its facilities. They have improved the feeder program. It wouldn't be a bad job for a coach who wants to build a program.
Coach Robins has done a very good job building that program up, they are losing a good one!

Would love to see HART win this game!

Near 5 hour drive day after Thanksgiving for PT= +1 for the Colonels
Home Field Advantage = +1 for the Colonels
Discipline = +1 for the Colonels
Halftime Adjustments = +1 for the Colonels
I’ll take the Colonels 28-17.
That sounds like a victory of more than 28-17.... all of those +1 makes me think PT should just save the money and stay in WKY.

Expect Marshall County to improve dramatically. Chris Mason, former Boyle County OC/OL, former Principal at Bullitt East HS(who put in place the structure for a 6A State Title) is now an Assistant Superintendent in the district.
It will be a GREAT job and they are going to get much, much better.
Chris knows his stuff and he will not accept anything less than exceptional support for HS Football from the district level.
If I wasn't so happy at Anderson, and if I had a George Jetson vehicle, I would be begging to be the head football coach at Marshall County. Maybe can get a hover bus and play the Marshals some where in between one Friday night. 🚀
The Cross District will have a little to do with the possible success. Not sure a first round playoff opportunity with a BG or SW will allow for much growth.

I would think that when these schedules were made both PT and Russellville were both coming off of a State Championship appearance!

JV started out the second half and scored three touchdowns! The starters were wearing headsets at the end of the third and appeared that the varsity was calling plays for JV.
I would think the kids were simply wearing the headsets after coming out of the game as coaches had taken off the headsets once the clock had begun to run. I have seen this before as kids on the sideline just having a little fun.

Mayfield, it want be close!

If Calloway can't score early, it will be 49-7. If they put up an early fight, then PT will get in the 50's/60's

Interested to see what you think about the matchups of District 1 v 2 in playoffs. How close are Logan, WE and ACS to Bardstown JH and Nelson? I think there are going to be some very good playoff games between these 2 districts.
Hoptown beats Allen County, ACS will be out Hoptown will be in!

You are aware there were 5 teams who finished the season 10-0 so one of them had to be 5th in RPI!
