Why do I keep thinking that Trinity let this kid down ? Just seems like that the status that Trinity holds they would have had him prepared for a 4 year school.

Why do you need 15 players on an all star team?

Clay is playing better as a team right now. They figured out the recipe to beat SC. Moreno has their rhythm off a bit. It would take sc being blazing hot from 3 to win. I got clay winning and is also my early pick to win next week.

SC lives and dies by the 3. They are vulnerable right now. I think Moreno threw their rhythm off a bit. Clay wins tomorrow. And will win state. No one has enough depth outside of SC.

You're not wrong. Plus, I'm admittedly biased.

It's really all about match ups. I've thought all year that Frankfort and clay are the only teams that match up with sc in every position.

I think the argument can be made these are the top 4 teams in the region but I wouldn't go as far as to say Frankfort and Scott County are the top 2. Just look at the results this season:

 

Frankfort defeated Henry Clay and Woodford County in December and lost to Woodford County and Franklin County in January.

 

Henry Clay lost to Frankfort in December, lost to Scott County in January and February, and defeated Scott County and Woodford County later in Februrary.

 

Scott County beat Henry Clay and Woodford County twice but then lost to Henry Clay a week ago.

 

Woodford has beaten Frankfort and lost to everyone else albeit in close games.

 

Point is I think the matchups are actually evenly "seeded" based on current results. Frankfort is a champion playing a runner up and Henry Clay is a champion playing a runner up. If I were to seed the Region based on current and recent results I would go:

1. Henry Clay

2. Frankfort

3. Scott County

4. Woodford County

Yea I agree for the most part but sc are the defending champs and until they get knocked off, they're still #1.

Crappy draw for Frankfort. Them and SC shouldn’t meet till the title game, but it is what it is.

If they're gonna play each other any way does it matter when?

I would love to see MC when this which they certainly can.

 

However, I am going with SC by 15+.
