  1. The second worst scourge on the planet is now upon us - attorneys.

I just received a spam email from a NY law firm looking to sue companies, perhaps even class action, who an employee thinks is treating them wrong because of CV19.

I hear you in regard to the spam email from huge opportunistic firms, but the “first, kill all the lawyers” framing always bewilders me.

I wonder what some would do if their significant other took a surgical mask to use at her work as a nurse at an area hospital experiencing PPE shortages and was told not to use it or go home because masks were being rationed for use by doctors only. Some might call their lawyer for advice.

Full Disclosure: My spouse is a lawyer and has fielded such calls. And yes, an attorney’s expertise and advice has a price tag.

  2. Sam Vinson had the biggest impact and the best stats in this tournament and was one possession away from winning it. Neil had zero points at halftime. They should change the name of the award to "most valuable player on the winning team". In 1969 Jerry West won finals MVP on the losing side, and in 2015 LeBron was a few votes shy of winning despite losing. Obviously a different league but there has been evidence of this occurring.

Green had 7 points at the half.

  3. Great win for the Colonels.

Congrats to Neil Green on the St. Elizabeth MVP award. Green is a testimony to the hard work, conditioning, and determination that allows a player to rise through NKY parochial “feeder” schools (in his case , Prince of Peace, St. Agnes and then all 3 CovCath teams, Freshman, JV and Varsity). He is a disciplined co-captain, fine student and represents what CovCath is all about. Fun to watch him lead and explode on rebounds and inside shooting his senior year.

Congrats to the entire team for this victory. Y’all keep playing your game.
