  1. 8th grade results only.

As stated above, St. Thomas and St. Henry were victorious. The other side of the bracket St. Paul over St. Mary and SPP over Holy Cross.

Should be a good final four.

Gibson kid for St. Joe's played really well against the 2 big kids from St. Henry, but turnovers and not being able to handle pressure did them in.

    Let the predicting begin!

  3. In my opinion, it's less about the 1 point and more about the mental aspect of the play. Momentum of games can be huge depending on the timing of it. If a team needs a spark a 4 point play can do exactly that, thus allowing the mental part and excitement back into a team. On the other hand giving up the 4 point play if you are down and trying to mount a comeback can be demoralizing and take the wind out of your sails. Psychology has an enormous effect on the outcome of games. More so than people account for.

  4. From the teams I have seen so far. In no particular order. These are just players that stood out.

    Hudson Blank - Turkeyfoot

    Jabari Covington - Holmes

    David Hagen - St. Pius

    Marvin Bryant - RA Jones
