I'm confused. You don't like the coaches or the players?

Definitely didn't run it up. It appeared as if Ryle had zero preparation for this game. They were outplayed, outworked, didn't execute and were out coached. Certainly CCH has an enormous talent edge, bit not 52 points worth of better athletes, not to mention if Cov Cath wanted 100 points on the board they could have. You gotta question the lack of production from the Juniors (other than a healthy Vince Rankin) and Seniors from this group. Ryle seems to be the Bengals of the 9th Region at this point. A couple of trips to BB&T EVERY 3-4 YEARS AND IT'S ALL GOOD. 51-81 including Coach Mcfarlands 1st season (only winning season). I suspect the potential for better days ahead as Ryle does have 3 sophomores that can play. If the Triple Crown Mafia doesn't get involved, I'd like to see what Coach McFarland can do with Rankin and the Sophomores next year.

The two picks were on the coach not QB. Second down on the two yard line and you throw a pass after moving the ball down the field with ease. No need to throw the ball in that situation.
The other pick was the long ball on 2nd and two, again moving down the field with ease. No need to throw the ball long in that situation. Everybody on the planet knew the HHS D has trouble stopping people, why would you want to score quickly?
The back in the flat was open all night long. Why didn't they go to it more often?
HHS doesn't make the 2 point conversion on the 1st TD. Why not go to it on the 2nd TD? What's the difference, you lose by 1 point or two.
Again, congrats to the Dragons.
Sooo....when exactly is the right time to stretch the field? 2nd and two seems to be the right time. Being critical of that call seems to be a little much. Agreed, the play call from the two was questionable.

Welcome aboard and you are wrong.
The KHSAA rules are the same for everyone. CovCath does not have any advantages over Cooper, only self-imposed rules by their local school district that are above and beyond the KHSAA rules.

Please everyone let this tired, old debate go or we will close this thread.
It's a pretty solid debate. CJ lives in Ohio. CJ is arguably a top 5 player in Kentucky. CJ can't go to Cooper and live in Ohio. That would certainly constitute and advantage.

In between the inflated gate fee and the crazy trailer park fight there was some decent basketball played. NKY young men who made all tournament with brief observations:
Dieonte Miles
Walton So.--Dominant at times, had to have a triple double in the game I saw.
Tyler Fleek
CCH SO.--Unfair. Looks as if Cov Cath has another good one.
Zach Clinkenbeard
Walton Jr.--Bigger than I remember, smart and unselfish.
Chris McNeil
Cooper Jr.--Two words, pick/roll. Looked really quick.
Garret Jones
Walton--can flat out shoot it.
Tanner Craddock
Conner Jr.--Seemed like he scored when he wanted
Gage Ashcraft
Ryle Fr.--Surprisingly versatile. Real range with the 3 ball.
Garrison Williams
Cooper Fr.--Consistent shooter. Fearless attacking the rim.
Devion McClendon
Lloyd So.--WENT AROUND EVERYONE.
One of the big takeaways from the games I saw. Walton is going to be very, very good.
KHSAA Transfer Question

Looking for some clarity on this. If an underclassmen transfers after participating in Varsity games, will the athlete be able to play JV at the new school while awaiting for the 1 year ineligible period to expire?
