Do these teams ever play in Lex area?
-
I dont think any 18 year old has reached their potential, may be finished growing, but will continue to improve throughout college if they have work ethic
-
Any chance Fitzgerald or Faulkner can play SEC level ball?
-
Not happening in my opinion. Penny family has been influential in that program for a while, no reason to move. They are loyal unlike some
"Unloyal like some".....who ?
-
I heard Penny may end up at Mercer County with his buddy Trevon. Is that just a bad rumor?
Man that would be one heck of a backcourt right there!
-
Al Sharpton...??????
-
Will he play right away or redshirt? Has a lot of athleticism...wish him well.. Congrats Malik

So are all the Warriors staying on the reservation now or seeking asylum with other tribes such as the Maroons?
-
Those are simple vector calculus formulas understanding divergence and flux. AAU rules are a lot more complicated than those. lol
Is that Mr Miagi?
-
That is the rules, it isn't hard to understand.
He isn't compared to 16 year olds he is compared to players in the 2018 class. It does not matter if he is 20 to be honest cause when you go to college there is no age.
Scholarships will be given out to the 2018 class not the 16 year olds then a set of 17 year old and so forth.
The rest of the 2018 class might as well adapt and not whine cause that's who they are competing with, blame the parents for not holding theirs back and applaud Lee for doing so.
Agree...too much talk about "hold backs", there are only Fr,Soph,Jr, and Sr....as long as KHSAA says they are eligible is all that matters...smart move if ur kid is gonna be a prospect.. Can only help IMO
-
Id like to seeHS go to 6 fouls per player...2 quick ones and kid is out for rest of half....let em play

What is the feeling of the current players at SW about Baker? Does his possible hire influence kids staying or leaving?
-
If SW hires Baker is that a plus for them as far as Fitz staying?
-
Is GGSmith the coach there?

How many of the other 15 schools in the Sweet 16 could endure Dunbar's schedule!? From tournaments, to showcase games, to district games, to region games, to the gauntlet that was placed in front of them in the state tournament. Nothing was giving to the Bulldogs, they earned it and at times had to go out and take it. Say what you want, when the smoke clears, they're still the champs!
Yes they are and yes they sure did earn it..to me the purpose of the post was that it was a shame that PLD-Mercer-BG had to play each other in the first two rounds....hands down they were the top 3and once it got to the 3rd round i think the suspense was over...i bet u KHSAA would say the same thing if they could.

All in last two Innings ... Just too obvious to be overlooked....MC was robbed. Plain and simple
-
Balks all called on the same pitcher or different ones?
Two different P..both lefties, one a Jr the other a Sr...both pitched their entire baseball careers , understand the 45 degree angle step etc. All balks cslled in ladt innings. Base ump had already told CH coach they were not balks. In 6th inning CH coach got in HP umpires ear between at bats and "poof"....5 balks.... You decide.all called by HP ump
-
Who's coach was almost tossed, then reprimanded and not allowed to be on the field for the remainder of the game because of his "loose cannon" tirade directed towards the home plate umpire, which included inappropriate 4 letter words?
You must be soo proud of him. I guess your last batter striking out to end the game is also the result of a bad call by the umpire?
5 balks....5 balks....enough said .... "Homered" at CH...Has anyone ever seen 5 balks called by the HP umpire between two high caliber teams? In 40 years i sure havent.

How did Will Hager play?

After sweeping Moore, DeSales and Mercer County in the Central Hardin Wooden Bat Classic, Central Hardin is now 19-1 and hasn't lost a game since March 19th, averaging 10 runs a game, this team is a serious contender for a state title. They have it all, good pitching, big bats, and good defense.
Will they have the same Homeplate Umpire that called 5 balks on Mercer Co on saturday in a one run game.....left handed P on mound CH coach moaned and groaned forever then HP Ump rewarded him for his whining and begging by giving him the game basically,...no wonder they have a nice record
