Jay Stanley, a Mason County senior and thrower for the track team, signed with Western Carolina University to continue his throwing career at the next level.

We will. The meets are spaced out pretty well. One per weekend...lol. The only conflict is that the association meet is the same as New Balance so I don't know what we will do. Depends on his distances.

We probably have seen you at the Mason Indoor meets. Our son is the thrower for Mason County and we officiate.

Congratulations!! Always like to hear about throwers. Our son competed in shot and weight throw at the Hersey Indoor Nationals this past weekend. And at the UK High School Invitational a few weeks ago. Just a heads up, we have found that the AAU series does not do hammer. We have done the USATF series. They also have a Junior Olympics that will be in Sacramento CA this summer. This series starts with a KY association meet then proceed on to the Region 5. USATF also has the Hersey Outdoor Nationals that will be in Pennsylvania this summer.
