disagree....shoots to much and just because kids can score 20 a game taking 20 shots doesn't make them a good player. It takes 5 players to make a team better. If Allen stays at PC, they are in that top 4-6 area. If he were to transfer to any of those teams in the 1-4 range, they immediately become Number 1, easily. -
GRC program is down. Maybe in 2018 they might shape up to something. They gotta fill all 5 spots next year, find role players, a scorer etc....hard to do with so many sophomores that didn't play and the ones that did play got a ways to go.@sportsfanatic1 Hard to predict now, too much goes on over the summer and with transfers. Someone put GRC at #1. I love my Cards but I sure don't see that. We lost 4 starters with most of the scoring and rebounding. Cornelius will be hard to replace. We have Philpot. He will need to hit the weight room and play AAU this summer. We had 11 Sophomores on our team last year and only 1 started. I think we could be in the hunt but to Rank us #1 now , I just don't see it. PC, Paris, Mason would be my top teams right now. -
Trace might be anywhere next week.Speaking of where people are....is Trace Young still at Cordia? -
you lost the concept of what I was saying!!!! its all good and glad for all the guys that made it and honorable mentioned. In a couple weeks nobody will care anyways.........These teams are the result of the 10th Region coaches voting and not "small town folks from the Northern Regions" who "are blind and only see scoring" voting. -
1st team got all scorers and wouldn't be enough balls to share. Wilson and Pig are the only legit players with all around game. Small town folks from the Northern Regions are blind and only see scoring.1st team 5 would beat this group pretty handily IMO. -
No Jarrod jones from moco?
I know, I know everyone can't make it, but come on.
Political.....next year it be another fiasco....
-
My guess on the second five:
Dontaie Allen
Jackson Crawford
Caswell Fuller
Koebe Garrard
Art Walker
Walker didn't show enough. Fuller should have been 1st team. Jones led Montgomery in scoring and 2nd in rebounding according to stats on KHSAA. Crawford and Ohmer for sure didn't deserve 1st IMO

Gonna be a bologna hire like always and political as can be. Same stuff just another day.....regardless who they hire it doesn't matter because it's gonna be a Good Ole boy system.

Kids are recruited, jobs are given to parents and as long as parents move it should be no issue. The same will happen with the 2016-2017 season. It's a trend that really hurts the prior school with no commitment to a program. It's mire of a parents dream

I agree and very well said......Congratulations to Augusta, you controlled and dominated this game from the tip. You are an absolute pleasure to watch. There's not many moco posters on here that post game analysis (me an Rez)but I would like to here their take.
I've watched moco from the beginning of the season to last night and I've never understood what/why/when and how their coaching staff thought that was a man to man team. Am I the only moco follower that could see that?
Augusta exploited their lack to guard over and over again.
This team lived by the three and died by three. When they are making shots they can play with anyone. Games like this was sprinkled thru out the season, the coaching staff was never able to adjust their game plans for bad shooting nights. The mismatches on the inside last night looked like high schoolers vs middle schoolers. Combs was being guarded by the pg for crying out loud.
Please throw him the ball.
The moco team was out coached miserably by Kirk and his staff. Hats off to them.

to many 3pt balls. 5/22.....this team has the pieces to win if they used other options as you mentioned. Also a 2-3 zone would have helped stop Augusta with all the driving to the rim points. They was 21/31 and majority of those was lay ups. Poor game plan from Montgomery.....This was nothing short of a clinic by Augusta. An absolute clinic coaching and on the floor. Watching the Moco side the fans were in disbelief. Not sure why Moco didn't go to their bigs on offense. Jones and combs should have been the key targets all night long.

that should be easy with the athleticism Montgomery has. A 2-3 zone could fix any issues also. Montgomery just to strong and they didn't play their best against Pendleton.Looks like Augusta dodge the polarbear98 curse now if we dodge the randy parker kiss of death of death I like are chances. All joking aside I see a lot of people saying Montgomery has to much size but remember that size will have to try to keep five guards in front of them. I'll take Augusta by 6. -

To much down low strenght and midrange game from Montgomery. If Augusta try's to stop the Fuller/Combs dis off then Montgomery will focus on Fuller/Jones dis off. Jones can score 18ft and around the rim at ease. This will free up Walker and Parsley from the 3pt line. I see 10-15pt win favor Montgomery.
-
Parsley shuT Allen down...... Defense wins games.... Bottom line. Montgomery will be rolling against Augusta.
-
4h45min before tip off..... I think they will be moved to Friday
-
I came up early to see friends and eat before the game. Roads are terrible as of now. I see Montgomery with a big margin win. Walker, Fuller, Combs and Parsley and Jones and Cananda will be ready to play....
