First off, so people care about Xavier and not UC? Ha
I think tonight's games attendance is poor for a lot of reasons. Kids are going to go to a girls basketball game over other weekend plans. Stinks but it is how it is. I think putting the local schools at night is smart because you will not get the same size crowd from an out of town team at night as during the day.
Second why are the games played so late? Who from Louisville or Murray is going to be able to drive home after the game. They should be earlier.
As far as ticket prices for the sessions besides tomorrow you get 2 games. So technically the price makes sense.

Noticed Etown wears under armour uniforms and Nike shoes. Except for Boley she wears UA shoes. Guess she gets them for free from UA? Wonder if this went into her decision on going to Notre Dame since they are also UA?

So it's voted on by all the coaches in he state? Who knows what happens then after seeing some of the All Region picks in some of the regions. One good thing is since it seems to be a 2 horse race there won't be as much politics and back scratching involved..
And you would be shocked on how few coaches actually vote.

Interesting point I've heard today, a lot of people in 5th region still have a bad taste in their mouth over whether Erin Boley should have gone to LaRue Co. or not. She may lose some votes from 5th region coaches, which is where she should sweep! Then if she loses say 13-16th region votes Ms. basketball voting may be closer than we all think!
In my opinion two great players but it should be an easy selection, Boley is one of the best EVER.
Congrats to her on yet another award with Gatorade KY player of the year

Had no idea the region was that big. Makes it sad that some schools in other regions chose not to play each other in regular season and they are only miles apart. (Not calling out school just saying in general)
I know voting for ms basketball has already taken place, but hypothetically how many more votes do you think creech would have received if she marches her team to sweet 16?
Side note I think it is wrong decision to have voting prior to sweet 16

Yes creech was 44-45 last night in the two games they played but they won 86-7 and 111-21. If etown had these margin of scores and Boley was left in to score points everyone would be having a fit!
Boley deserves it, she could be national player of the year but not voted the best senior in her own state....

I always thought there was this 2 all star game maximum but I heard she is playing in the Jordan brand classic and the ky all stars meaning she Has 3 games scheduled... Can anyone explain?
