Andy was the OC last year and was WR coach/ST coordinator at Russell County the 2 years prior. He worked as a GA at EKU before going to Russell County. Was on staff at Belfry during the offseason a few years ago but elected to go to Russell County since they had a teaching job available. Great dude.

I think a quick way to find out is to look back at East Ridge's offense in 2014, I believe he was a coordinator then!
-
Anyone hearing anything?
Quentin Morgan got the job. He was a former ER assistant but has been helping with basketball at Pike County Central and head softball coach there as well.
-
Belfry is probably 4 or 5 in my opinion.
-
I'd wager if you did that, and consolidate the other county schools, they'd win against a PHS/BHS unholy union
I'd be surprised.
-
Belfry & Pikeville..... if everybody could keep from fighting each other you could destroy 3A.
-
Hopefully we can get it in 2018.
True but I want it with those two classes of kids as seniors.
-
Please have Chuck Smith call Coach Haywood and get us that 2019 Belfry vs Boyle game we all deserve.
-
The decision to play up or stay in your present class is a strategy on the part of the coach for whatever reason. It makes perfect sense for him not to reveal his plans until after the cutoff date which is Wednesday I believe. I am sure there are other teams that would like to know where Boyle will be playing and make their decisions accordingly.
100% what I was thinking.

I'll add Cullen Wilson (Belfry) at UK 1956-1959, Greg Battistello (Belfry) at North Carolina 1962-1966, James Ramey (Belfry) at Kentucky 1975-1979, Lee Dotson (Belfry) at Kentucky 1982-1985.
Also Austin Dotson from Belfry is currently at UK, just finished his freshman season.

Nine schools had incorrect data on the initial form. It appears the changes have been made. Not sure why they were wrong to start with.
Any idea what 9?
-
Did anyone look at the list of enrollment numbers yesterday? They've changed... I just can't tell what has. But Newport was 1A yesterday and Greenup was smallest in 4A now they're largest in 3A according to list.
-
Does Boyle County move up to 4A with their rival Lexington Catholic? With both Mercer County and Taylor County dropping to 3A I would say it's a little less likely. We shall see.
Why would they? I think all of 3A hopes so, but I don't see why Boyle would.

There is someone out there I think Lex Cath may give a call too. I dont think he would be interested, but, him being a non teacher, the whole teacher retirement thing wont be an issue, so for enough $$$ he might consider it maybe. I could be totally wrong.
Hmmm, wonder who that could be?

Don't take it for granted because one program in KY got very accustomed to those thanksgiving practices and missed it like hell today!
-
This game may feel close watching it, but when the final score is posted it won't be. Think something like Boyle 42-14 pulling away late.

Just one of those nights. #9 for Central runs extremely hard. They always have a stud back but that kid is the real deal and #4 can fly too. Turnovers, injuries, and lack of defensive playmaking piled up quick to make the margin what it was. Belfry got physically abused all game long! Central was faster and stronger. Felt like the wind came right out of Belfry's sails shortly after halftime which is not Belfry-like. Good luck to the Yellowjackets and the Hounds next week. Should be a great game!

Hopefully nobody bumps into one of the added officials on the sidelines
LOL! I'm thankful in retrospect for that call, crowd went nuts!
-
I was somewhat joking, but the 8 man crew Belfry encountered at Knoxville Catholic last year was God awful.
-
It means more whistle blowers and flag throwers and nobody is going home happy (even if you win!)
-
Carhart's versus the North Face's
I got a kick out of that.
Carhart's roll in this one... won't be close.
-
That's an understatement.
Since the change to 6 classes in 2007, Central has only lost 2 playoff games at home. To Wayne Co in 2013 and to Lexington Catholic in 2015.
theyve only lost one playoff game on the road...
-
Remember the last time that phrase was used by a KY high school football team's fan base. Didn't end as expected.
That's the beauty of it... if we lose this year, we can still wear these next year... and every year until we win a 7th... or ya know... don't.

Has Belfry faced any elite speed this season?
No.

Odessa Permian is another example of the Ashland Blazer thing.
But like everyone has said, no one ever acknowledges that it’s called Washington. It’s just Massillon.
