  1. With no injured players Collins is 4-0 Momtgomery County (7-0) Bullit East (55-14) Franklin County (23-0) and Valley (41-8) That's a combined score of

126-22. I know they weren't the best teams but it shows that they are a different team when everyone's healthy and the strongest part of this Titans team is the defense. with Stucker and Harrod out they looked to have no confidence and lay down. Those two boys just bring a toughness and fearlessness to that defense that wears off on the rest of the boys. This team is gonna shock everyone. Mark my words. Go Titans

  2. Well no one else has started this discussion so I guess I will be the ice breaker.

Collins makes a return trip across town to SC where 3 weeks ago they were handed it first loss to SC by a score of 44-0. Collins was missing some key players that night and lost 2 during the game. They had very little energy after SC bust a long run on the first drive.

Collins got everyone back last week and took care of Valley on the road by 41-8. Yes that was Valley but they did what they were suppose to do.

Shelby Co, after its big win over Collins, showed no signs of letting up and went on the road to defeat a good 5A top 6 South Oldham before coming home and opening up the playoffs by destroying Breckinridge county 55-6 while not playing its QB or a D lineman. Both will be back this week.

Shelby has been playing great D all year and can beat you with 4 guys running the option.

Collins must get movement on the line and protect JR.

I don't see this game being 44-0 this time around.

    What do you think?

With Stucker and Harrod back on that Defense I don't see Shelby having anywhere near the day they had 3 weeks ago! Roseberry is back and looks like he did against North on the 305 yard night! I say the Rockets take them too lightly and they pull off the big upset! 35-28 Go Titans

  3. The Titans have been healthy for only two games this year and it was Bullit East who is not much competition but the score was 55-14 and Franklin and we all know about the 23-0 shutout. The first round of the playoffs they get their full team back and The Rockets better not under estimate them or they could be in for some trouble

  4. Collins does have some of young talent. Eades and Stucker at LB and Roseberry at RB are great pieces to build around for the future. Lucas needs to get a whole lot better (and taller) in order to play varsity QB. I kinda wish Coach Lucas would give someone else a shot a QB. It can't get much worse than last night.

They don't really have another QB. Jr is gonna have to grow up fast if Collins wants a chance to make a run in the playoffs

  5. the scariest part of all this is 29 Eades who leads the Titans in tackles is a sophomore. Roseberry is a sophomore. Stucker is a sophomore. Jr Lucas the struggling Titan quarterback is a sophomore who is having an off season. Once Jr matures and plays like the dual threat talented quarterback everyone knows he can be I would watch out for the Titans and that class of 2018. I'll be very suprised if they don't absolutely dominate teams when they're seniors

  6. Collins played with absolutely no intensity at all on either side of the ball. 23 Stucker and 20 Harrod both are the heart of that defense and it showed last night. Roseberry going out killed the Titans and they lost all fight in them. The Rockets are not 44 points better than the Titans and when Roseberry Stucker and Harrod are on that field in the second round matchup I promise it will be a different game despite what anyone says.

  7. All teams battle injures! The Franklin win was due to two things Collins and the weather conditions. I think anyone that watched Collins play Spencer saw Spencer go up and down the field all night long to the tune of 540 yards rushing. Collins struggles to score against good defenses, they are solid team but no where near the best in 4A. This is a really good district and the teams will be tough in the playoffs but I don't think anyone in this district has anything for South Warren and probably John Hardin.

The Spencer county game they had their leading receiver Dalton Maggard out and their leading tackler Zach Stucker out. Maggard dominates corners like Spencer's and Stucker would've been Kadin Smiths worst nightmare on those sweeps

  8. Collins has been battling injuries all season. The Franklin County win was a result of everyone back. Collins could easily be 3-0 in the district if you take the last 6 minutes out of the Spencer County game. The Titans are playing this coming week with a few key spots out but a healthy Titan football team is easily one of the best teams in the state.
