Lost 5 starters from last year 6 starters returning as seniors and a great sophomore and junior class to fill in the pieces. Should be interesting to see how they mesh.

Should be an interesting season coming up for Central with probably 9 or 10 starting seniors leading this team Connor Britton will be pushing the offense and Branden Carney with a big physical defense protecting the back half should be fun to watch with a talented underclassmen group.

I agree with Sir on this one, match should be a battle and I expect a pretty fast pace with these two teams, Central Defense is pretty stubborn and the offensive front is clicking better every game. Should be fun to watch! 1-0 Madison Central

Madison Central down 1-0 at half then 2-0 about midway through 2nd half then Central scored with a header off a corner and with 45 seconds left tied game 2-2 on a nice pass in about the 18 and Payton Netherton ripped one in past the keepers right shoulder. 2-2draw

Correction on the shots taken for Madison Central , 20 shots taken and 16 shots ON goal. Lex Cath keeper made a few really nice stops.

Madison Central-lexcath, the game was all Madison Central , 28 shots on goal and they couldn't get any luck from the soccer gods, lex - cath maybe 5 shots. Lex-cath packed the back the whole 2nd half playing for the tie and the Indians had some awesome shots in the second half, probably 15 but they couldn't find back of net. Central Defense did there job again but offense couldn't connect. The coming weekend should be exiting for Central with South Warren and Bowling Green .

All I have to say is there are a lot of quality teams out there and nothing really matters until Oct.-Nov.

Should be a fun ride for all.

Bullseye is always bigger on your own back and it is a pretty difficult schedule with 9 of the top 20 on schedule over the next few weeks.

Madison Central did not get a Messi but they do have a rock solid defense in Carney, Britton, Mcguire and Resieg. Thus far the TEAM approach is what's making it happen. No messi, All TEAM! ALL TOGETHER!

The last I recall was 3 titles out of region 11, 1 out of region 9, 1 out of region 4 and the remainder of 5 from region 7 over the last 10 years and 5 state titles out of region 11 over the past 15 years, just saying.

Teams win state championships jot individuals so why name certain play ers.

NKY fans seem to always forget about Region 11, it is gonna be an interesting season to see how things pan out this year. Madison Central, Dunbar, Henry Clay are very much alive in 2016.
