  1. I agree money is 99% of the reason. The thing I hate to see is a team gets up by 5 10 points late in a game or any time during the game for that matter and the kid stands at the top and holds the ball to run time off or until hes fouled. To me and I may be crazy that is playing not to lose instead of playing to win if that makes sense to you all. I think the shot clock would be good all around money not being the issue.

  2. Boyle is very balanced offensively. With that said like all good teams they take what the defense gives. If its pass they pass, run they run. It should be a great environment tonight, I cant wait to watch this game. Safe travels to all and I hope for a clean hard hitting injury free night for both teams.

If we're going to give scores on the rivalry we have to do it from start to finish.

Boyle leads 12-11. But the only thing that matters is this friday because this is the 2015 Rebels vs the 2015 Knights. They are the only ones who have a say in what happens this year.

  4. Now that last 4-5 post are excellent. That's what I was talking about. Just head to head match up. No Chuckie reference, no who won more district, regional or finals... Just good ole head to head rivalry. God bless to all and the rest of the season. Play injury free and we will see you all on 10-16-2016...

Head to Head is 11-11. Smith only is 5-5 they also played in 1997 with a Boyle win. So its a dead even Match.

  6. What's the breakdown while Smith has been Head Coach?

Correct me if I'm wrong but as it stands just chuck smith coached teams are 4-5 vs Catholic. If you 1998 to present when I assume they started playing each other the rivalry stands at 11-11 all time match ups. That 4-5 counts last year catholic winning both times.

  7. OK out of the 6 times catholic has played in the semifinals they have only won twice. If everyone's goal is to make the state finals and win they have faltered 4 times to reach that goal. Boyle has made the semifinals 8 times going 100%. With that said it seems catholic has faltered more times than not. 66% of the time they don't make there goal.
