I know Rambo will agree with this but Mayfield fans are a lot like UK BBall fans. They are kind and polite to you as long as you don't have one thought you can compete with them. I am not saying that's a bad thing because I am one of those cat fans but it just funny to be on the other end of it.

The DC game gets brought up a lot and I truly believe OC is at least 4TDs better then DC. The Aces just didn't come ready to play and they got beat. It was probably the worst game we have played in a couple years.

If you fast forward to the Murray game the Aces look completely different. Morton is more of a focal point and the running game has really been fantastic. I do think Mayfield is the favorite but I think the Aces have a punchers chance.

Don't you know that you should never ever pick against Mayfield!? It doesn't matter if you believe it, it's just best to pick Mayfield by at least 4TDs to appease the masses.

After watching some hudle video of Murray it's obvious the key is line play. Murray is much bigger on both lines so the Aces will have to be very sharp up front.

I think this game has a running clock at some point. Butler Co relies 100% on Henderson and that is not good when you play a quality team. I think Mayfield wins 52-14

I taped the game last year on DVR from Cable 8. I was not aware how open the Staples kid was in the endzone when he dropped the pass. If he catches that OC wins.

That still stings a little. I know you have talked about it a lot but the number of uncharacteristic mistakes that the Aces make against Murray is staggering. People love to blame the coaches but they continue to put these kids in a great spot to beat Murray and something bad always happens.

Surprised by this score. I saw both teams this year and thought NH was better but I didn't see this coming. DC has to feel disappointed about this season ending this way in the first round.

As in the last 3 years, turnovers will decide the Murray game. OC was exposed a bit with N. Hardin's passing game and 2nd half adjustments shut it down. Morton is the X factor that OC has not had in recent years...

I don't know if OC was exposed but rather, as I said earlier, just haven't played anyone in quite a while.

Morton is the X factor. Even if you game plan for him and play good defense he is so elusive that he can make something happen. When you combine him with Garner, RZ3, and Jacobs you have a formidable offense that is very difficult to stop. The only question is whether this defense can play at a high enough level and I honestly don't know what will happen will Murray comes to town.

Catholic was very good on offense but you could tell it had been awhile since they played a team with a pulse because it took the defense a half before they got rolling. North has some pretty good athletes and I think it was good for the Aces to see that heading into the playoffs.

You are right Rambo, there is nothing they can do, just keep doing the same thing.

As far as the OC schedule, I dont know why OC keeps playing South Spencer. I dont mind playing them here and there but every year for as far back as I can remember is crazy. I get that it is hard to schedule games but when you are in a district that is as terrible as what Catholic is you have to find a way to challenege yourself. When North Hardin is the 2nd or 3rd best team on your schedule then something has to change.

The aces were up 41-0 at the half. I think Garner finished with 4 TDs, all in the first half, and RZ3 had 4 TD passes as well.

I didn't get to go to this game but from what I was told Catholic didn't look that sharp tonight. The Aces won't get much of a test the rest of the regular season so hopefully they can stay focused and take care of business.

Catholic rolled in this one and was up 40-7 at the half. The Henderson kid is quite a player for BC but he needs some help.

If Stratton can't play for DC then I don't see how they win but I thought it was probably a stretch for them to win before he got hurt.

Catholic dominated this game and led 47-7 at the half. The only negative was giving up another TD on special teams, I think that is 4th this year. Zuberer, Morton, Garner, and Jacobs are really starting to click on all cylinders and the defense is solid enough. After the DC game I was really down on them but now it is hard not to get excited about the potential of this team.

I didn't get to go to this one so I will be interested to see what happened.

Catholic played much harder and looked really good at times. The aces have issues on special teams, 3 TDs given up this year and 2 in this game, and they are dropping a ton of passes but I still think they can be a special team.

As much as I hate to say it, after what I saw on Friday against DC, this could be a running clock game.

OCHS looked very average at best, the good thing is they have a long season ahead of them and they will bounce back. They need to find a running game without it, rush 3 drop 8 and see what happens. For DC, great win and one the program has needed.

Holy cross blitzed so heavily that Zuberer didn't have time to think but DC forced him to make decisions and the result was not good for Catholic.
