  1. The final four was Waggener vs Somerset and Rockcastle County vs Allen County Scottsville. Waggener and Rockcastle in the finals. Waggener won!

Green County had a very good team as well. We played them in the 2nd round and we were both 4 and 0. We only beat them by 5, which was our closest game. It was a great experience for our young team, learing how to compete the right way, as a team.

Thank you Lindsey Wilson for a great event!

Always a fun event to watch. Waggener will be a handful for anyone they play. Very athletic and well-coached. Was great to see Rock sling it around, knowing they're more 'comfortable' grinding it out and punching you in the mouth. It's almost football season, boys and girls!

  2. Someone reported to me that the job has been offered to Jason Foley, the current head coach of Northern Pulaski Middle School.

    Anyone?

That's the word. Jason is definitely a quality coach. Anybody have any idea how many years Coach Hines has left before he can retire? Just wonder if he might be inclined to stay in hopes of getting the Pulaski County job, if Coach Hines only has a couple of years left. A lot of variables there and hypotheticals, I know. Either way, Adair would be very fortunate to get a coach like Foley.

  3. Marion is a place, like other schools in this area, that has positives and negatives. They have good athletes and pretty good size and even though they haven't had much success of late, they have a base of young kids that could be tough in the years to come. If Coach Jaggers is interested I for one hope he gets it because you can't have enough positive role models for young men today. Travis DID raise the bar at Adair to unprecedented levels so the next coach would be wise to use him as a resource since he is remaining on as assistant principal.
