In no way was I saying u said anything "bad" about their program at all! It was just late at night when I read the post & thought it was a good place to vent about it?

Yes they play some teams " on the decline" but I have a hard time believing those guys that set up schedule knew that was going to happen when they set it up? Also the FC games r part of a bowl game series at Trigg co , do they have any say about who they get to play in that series?

And yes I read all the western Ky stuff u do & it's always great & pretty dang accurate

I don't really understand why in every thread about Hopkinsville their " poor, easy , soft etc" schedule is always brought up? Does nobody realize that when this schedule was set up 3 years ago,

#1 graves had just beaten them by 60 points, graves went on to beat BG & advance to the state championship game ye Hoptown still wanted to play them

#2 Fort Campbell had just came off a 5 year run of great State Champ teams, Hoptown wanted to play them

#3 Murray had just played in 3 Region Champ games in a row & beat both Caldwell & Owb Catholic and had 2 D1 kids coming back yet Hoptown still wanted to play them

#4 CHRISTIAN co don't need to explain that game

#5 Madisonville had just beaten them by nearly 60 points & should have beaten Owensboro in the Region Champ game

So that makes 4 teams on their schedule that all made it to the region champ game in the year they set up their schedule

What I don't understand is do you think they (Hoptown) just predicted these schools would be going "down" in the next 2 year cycle so they set up themselves for those wins? If so their coach must be some kind of future teller then?

They seam to have worked hard in building up their program and people on here always try to put their kids down with this weak schedule excuse doesn't see, fair to those kids to me

I do all my Def stats off film & try to catch every Asst & solo

also if a kid, say a DT on a Trap , blows up the trapper like we teach causing the LB to get an easy SOLO , I give that DT an ASSIST because he actually made the play happen. Also, late in the game, when you unload the bench, if I have a kid that runs to ball & gets Somewhat close to the pile, I will slide that kid an Asst, likely the only 1 he will get all year. Makes the kid feel a part of the team when he sees his name show up on Friday Night game stast sheet we post in locker room . It doesnt hurt anything & certainly dont effect the state stats report

Somebody stated that "Todd Co is blessed with a lot of talent & should make a playoff run every year"? What planet is this guy from? Not Earth

I've heard from a source with knowledge of situation that WC has offered the job to 3 guys & all 3 have said NO

This decision looks worse now than when their coach was 1st let go

ive not seen them play but im curious as to What returning players will make this team "deadly"?

just looking at the stats shows they graduate their QB, top 2 RBs & top 4 Recs

only production i see coming back is a RB that gained around 200 Yds

That "21" is false because on the day in question 14 players were at after school tutoring as mandated by the former coach who was attempting to run a solid football program. In Feb WC had nearly 40 team members at a local powerlifting meet that I was at

they had 35+ in the program thru spring so if the #'s go down blame the "decision makers" that made the change.

This job was posted on May 13 so thye next coach can be named June 13.

how is this a good thing / improvement in the football program tom change coaches this late in year? the new coach cant even call a meeting during school to check out interest on new players, and isnt the low numbers the reason for the change?

If it's posted today , May 9 and it's open 30 Days ( as hiring rules say) then new coach can be hired June 9

So what "established coach" would leave his current team for a job with such low #'s as has been stated? How is this a good thing for the football program @ WC?

I have coached against Graves several times over last few years and they are always well coached & play very solid football somebody must have an ax to grind against the coaches for what ever reason? Usually boils down to somebody's kid not playing as much as Daddy & Mommy think they should!

are you saying the coaches dont have the gameplan ready before the start of the weeks practice for each opponent? they dont work on each team during the week?

Graves has some really good football coaches & no way i believe they wait until the morning of the game to decide what to do??

Please explain your opinion more? Discuss the team practices before the game?

Also heard they have lost 10 starters this season due to jury & discipline
