  1. Wait wait wait!! A Holmes fan (who several of us know who he is and who you are) posts that a Holmes player is transferring to HC next year and we aren't supposed to believe it?? Because one of the rules of bgp is to not state untruthful things. The "rumors" are not just on bgp by the way. This one and others.

If you know who I am then you only could of got it from one person and he know who he is. And fyi it's called a rumor for a reason how many rumors do you know that are true?

  2. Well i guess you guessed wrong don't get me wrong HC and HHS are two very great teams and I wish both of them the best of luck but let's get one thing straight the Bulldogs don't run from a good game never have and never will. Of course I will be cheering for HC since my family play for them but HHS is looking for revenge against both teams so may the best team win.

  3. To answer the questions above there was a formula or a weakness to be honest the lady bulldogs didn't come to play (some). It was a horrible game from the start and Holy Cross ran away with the game. It's a great win for them and I'm very proud of MY BULLDOGS. Not knocking my girls at all but u can't win a game if your sleep hopefully this wakes them up

  4. Again, I could care less. No one posted anything about it until you did. I think folks are used to it by now. To each their own. I'm just saying that playing basically 3 qtrs of the game in an almost 60 point victory is not really a justification for blowing someone out. Don't care about the blowout one bit. I expected it! Just saying it comes across a little defensive throwing our facts before anyone even said anything and the facts saying that the majority of the game was played by the varsity really doesn't help. I probably just wouldn't have said anything! Now people are asking questions?

What was the score at halftime? When did the running clock happen? All legit questions. I didn't ask them?

And to anwer your question, I don't care what the name of the game was. If you have JV kids sitting on your varsity bench, they have worked just as hard as the other kids you are telling me worked hard and they sit there the entire game for the majority of the games. What a great way to reward those hard worker with varsity minutes! So yes, it's a varsity game. But I always thought the players sitting on the end of the bench for every game were a part of that varsity team. And on the other hand, are you saying the main varsity players are neglected playing time? They get plenty of minutes. In fact, it's probably a great time in the season to provide some rest for those kids that have been going that hard for this long. It should be a luxury to them to be able to sit. No, they won't want to, but don't adults usually know what's better for kids than the kids?

Again, we have all come accustomed to seeing these scores. No one is surprised anymore. And I could really care less what the score was. Think I would have just left it alone. If you create smoke, there is usually fire.

Well if you don't care why comment? Our girls already prepared for the backlash because they do read these post. We're not taking anything away from any of the girls on the team because some of them do get varsity time. My post wasn't meant for anyone to light a fire i was just saying don't start going in over the score. All the girls played hard both teams.

  5. I'm not going to get on Holmes at all...I said my peace earlier in the year. It is what it is. But saying that the varsity only played 5 of the 8 minutes in the third qtr isn't really a good justification. That means the varsity played almost 3 full qtrs in a 57 point blowout where only 7 points were scored in the 4th qtr. That means that around 90 of the points were scored by the varsity.

Again, I'm past it, but that's not a great fact that I would use to help justify it to others.

So when do u think he should of put JV in the Varsity game? After half time? In the first quarter after they scored the first 30 points? Correct me if i'm wrong but this was a VARSITY GAME i was watching or was i watching 2 JV games? Just asking

  6. First Highlands game I have seen this year. A few observations from tonight. The Lady Birds do not box out or rebound very well. Holmes got so many second chance opportunities it was ridiculous. I also noticed that they are not very strong with the ball. If you pressure them they really struggle. I thought the refereeing was a little suspect to say the least. You can't call it one way at the beginning of the game and do a complete 360 at the end. Holmes was committing illegal screens all night long and they were never called. You can't put your arms out like you blocking someone in a football game and move your feet while you're settling a pick..This happened all night long.

What game was you watching? You must not know how to set a pick and the way your explaining it is totally wrong. But i did see pushing off on both teams that was only called on Holmes. I do agree the refs were really horrible

  7. Punctuation and I may be able to understand what you're saying and could reply. However, I believe it would be repeating myself for the third time, so do me a favor and re-read what I've already replied.

Like i said dont justify my child being called out her name because it was by another child ok because if my daughter would of slapped her then not only would this thread be 10 pages deep about it it also would of been 10 pages deep about the fight that broke out after that. Now punctuate that, so glad my daughter was brought up with class and good sportsmanship

  8. I guess trying to deflect classless behavior by an ADULT to a TEENAGER works for you two. I didn't hear this adult either as one poster said he was making comments maybe not necessarily heard by most, even players on the court. My daughter doesn't normally pay attention to the stands but when one of her teammates fouls out and there's a fan clapping and saying "You're next 40, you're next", she takes notice. This was in the last 5 min or so of the game. Holmes is winning, apparent they were going to win, what really was the purpose of the ADULT to make comments?

As for our player calling Holmes player a bad name, no I don't think anyone at NDA would condone it. It doesn't show sportsmanship. The difference between this incident and the one with my daughter is it was TEENAGER TO TEENAGER, not ADULT to TEENAGER. If you think your kids go to school and aren't called names, even at Catholic schools, you're living with your head in the sand & ought to pull it out.

As for the parents calling out the refs, I think I already addressed that and said that our parents at times do that as do every schools parents. Heard some Holmes fans having words for the refs last night when there were calls against your team. Goes both ways. However, it is ADULT to ADULT heckling.

You should really just sit back and ride the wave of success your girls are giving rather than attempt to justify :poop: behavior by one of your adult fans.

So let's get this straight it's ok that my daughter got called out of her name by the girl because it was by a child. That's real classy of the child glad she was taught manners as far as the guy who was yelling stuff i was sitting behind him and if he said anything about 40 i zoned him out and he was wrong if he did but let's not get it twisted NDA parents were yelling stuff also. IMO why can't people just say congrats to the girls for winning and leave it as that instead of bring problems to the thread like dg21 said some of those fans just showed up out of no where so don't think all Holmes parents are like that because i only yell at the refs
