Who said a peep when Brandon Berry left Ballard to go to Taylor Co.?

If a kid transfers out of Louisville and moves on to a team out in the state like- Mercer Co, Boyle Co.- nobody on this site really blinks an eye. If he transfers from Taylor Co. to Ballard- you're ready to rule him ineligible. Please...

If UofL is as interested in Sloan as some have said, why would he not go to a school in Louisville? For that matter being in Louisville makes him more accessible for college coaches to travel to see him play. There is weekly television news coverage of high school basketball and more print coverage as well. I could be wrong but that's just my thoughts.
Personally (and I know people will jump all over what I'm about to say), from a basketball IQ and fundamental skill standpoint I think Sloan is a better player than Goodin. Granted Goodin is a great athlete but if Goodin (with his height and athleticism) had Sloan's basketball IQ then guys like John Calipari, Tom Crean and Kevin Ollie would've been all over him.
Again, just one man's opinion.
Crean was all over Goodin. Recruited him heavily as did Billy Donovan.

Pretty impressive showing for Ballard, which has been in existence for less than 50 years.
If state runner up counted (5) Ballard would be the Buffalo Bills.

Amazing list. The Ken Burns of basketball can be found on BP! Really good stuff.

Love me some Tony Williams! I brought it up in a comment on February 15th- wish I knew how to repost it!

One guy who visited this site told you about Doss and what Tony Williams had developed...

Envy NCC fan base. Couldn't have expected this easy route to semis. House money!

Malik Dow left Ballard becUse the environment he lived in was not favorable for him to grow as a student. He apparently flourished at Mercer Co. I believe he might have been coming off the bench for the Titans because he tends to get on early foul trouble. He was missed at Ballard- he would've made a big difference this season.

Block party goin on at Rupp.

Conner Knight?

Better pay attention to Doss. Very athletic and tall.

#1 sportscenter! A good way for my son to end his basketball career. This is what makes kentucky high school sports so much fun!
-
Get him on an AAU basketball team. Even if it's a bad team it can break up monotony and help his footwork. Compete!
-
Beat Ballard by 22 earlier in the season. Ballard has since then played a much tougher schedule.
-
Trinity has to find an answer for #22. Renner calls on Wilson like Tom Hanks in Castaway.

A well played clean high school game. Sorry anyone had to lose this one.

Waggener- huge disappointment. All that size and nothing to show for it and nothing coming back next year.

Don't count on the catholic classic!

Where's Jordan Adell who committed to UofL as a freshman?

Tony ain't for everybody. His all hands on deck old school demeanor doesn't synch with all kids... But those who buy in get plenty of respect from Tony. Last years incident was more about crazy parent than crazy coach.
-
Tony Williams ain't chopped liver sports fans! He got his team to the sweet 16 last year despite more turmoil than any coach deserves. He took this new group of players and take a look at their record.

The thing I love most about this region is that it's been so wide open all year. With that being said I am picking opposite of every pick you have made! Central is the best first round match Ballard could've gotten. Male will out rebound and outrun Trinity. St X is a monster at home and Manual will tough a close one out with Eastern. I like X to represent the 7th.

Just read Jason Frakes tweet... The 7th is the only region with all teams participating having winning records.
6th and 7th Merry-Go-Round

Jamils dad played at Ballard- can't see a move forthcoming. Sloan and Wilson are a scary good combination!
