Bolden scored when he wanted to. Missed a couple off balanced shots near the rim but really didnt look for his shot much because of how well McClendon, Mullins, & Avery were playing.
With all do respect Walter, I was seated behind the bench. Bolden was visibly upset in many timeouts because he couldn't get what he was looking for. Coach Listerman did do a great job though calming him down telling him to "work harder on the defensive end".
It was obvious when Scott sent 2 and 3 guys at him it was starting to tick him off. He did have a few nice assists as well as assist the alley oop to Avery.

Scott did do a good job with limiting James Bolden tonight. If I remember correctly, Coach Carr has done a great job slowing him down in the past. But unfortunately can't figure out a way to stop the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th options.
-
Fun Fact, Scott and Holmes will play again a week from today at Scott.
-
NKU wouldn't be a big surprise. Coach Bezold has known Jake since he was in diapers. I still think he needs to grow some more before "hearing from" becomes something more.
He also has a connection through ex-AAU coach and family friend Brian Johnson with Xavier. Brian Johnson played at X after graduating from Holy Cross.

Define "hearing from."
Personal Emails.
-
Hearing Ohmer is starting to hear from some big name schools.. Xavier, NKU, Winthrop, Wake Forest, St.Bonaventure. Surely there will be more added to that list in the near future.
-
Scott did a great job defending the big #22 from Stewart's Creek.

Official Stats?
-
Big win for Eagles.

Out of curiosity, did Schneider start tonight? Or come off the bench?
-
Sorry, but can someone inform me on who Evan Slone is. Never heard of the young man. But have heard a lot about the others.
-
Mason County by 15+. Dorian Henry is going to have a field day tonight.
-
Just heard the Eagles are winning at the end of the second 39-24. Schneider still out, sophomore Vincent Dumlao made his first start tonight for Scott.
-
I'm sure they are saving him for us.
I can't confirm 100 percent. But hearing in the next week we will see Schneider return.
-
They was only down 4 going into the 4th quarter, game was a lot closer than final says. Unfortunately only have 30 males in the highschool doesn't give you a wide variety of players.. There 9 players ran out of glass toward the end.
What are you trying to say? That you guys deserve a better ranking because you don't have much to work with? IMO every school whether you have 1000 students or just 100 throws out there best 5 game in and game out. The beauty of Kentucky High School Basketball is that size does not matter. Regardless, te best team will be first, and the less talented will fall behind. Only having "30 males" is not an excuse to put Sulver Grove higher in the rankings.
-
Ohmer's the only one producing for the Eagles. They need Schneider back on the floor.
-
Sloppy 1Q from Scott
Sloppy 2Q from HC
Sloppy Half by the Refs.
-
Schneider is on the sideline in street clothes tonight.
-
I forgot how bad 9th Region refs are. Certainly glad the Eagles play in the 10th. I can't handle much more of this.
-
Don't sleep on Augusta.
1.Campbell Co.
2.Mason Co.
3.Augusta (As of now they are playing as a top 3 team in the region.)
4.Harrison/GRC/Paris
5.Scott
6.Montgomery
7.Brossart
8.Pendelton
9.Bracken
10.Silver Grove
I do personally believe the 10th is down this year.

Carr kept Ohmer on the bench for a while tonight
Ohmer couldn't find his rhythm. He had 3 guys swarming him once he touched the ball. Scott needs to focus on getting healthy.
-
During visiting team intro "the Crazies all turned around and faced the wall and were chanting something" Really? Come on Cov Cath, show some class!
C'mon dude. There is nothing wrong with that at all.
-
Glad to see Mr.Andrew Dixon got his name in the scorers book last night for the Eagles!:thumb:

Hearing that both Schneider and Ohmer are sick tonight. Unsure of there status. May be a game time decision. This could be good news for HC.

He missed some shots, but no way he missed 12.
