Couldn't agree more

CCH was out coached that game......from my reports....
Thank you
I won't tell uncle coach Hertz you said that lol
-
Juniet chipped the keeper, keeper was way out, Tolle finished it off with his foot
-
Cch wanted to play on their narrow turf field, I believe the grass field at Campbell was 110X73ish. As a coach that trained on a crappy grass field and played very few turf games the decision was a no brainer. That's why they rotate districts who host regionals, this way no one has the advantage every year.

Ncc won in regulation
Ncc took the lead in the 64th then cch ties the match in the 72ND Ncc puts a late goal in with 4 seconds remaining.
Nathan Grosser and the back 4 played 75 minutes of defense, I don't think they allowed a lot of uncontested shots but CCH put about 13 on frame.

All parents of CCH Soccer.... tell your confident seniors that a win in the Regional Final is not guaranteed when you don't bring your A game everyday....Now is the time to play with intensity and unselfishness....and shore up the defense tight.....or you will match the crushing defeat of the very talented 2011 CCH team in the regional Finals AGAIN!!!
I remember that game.....
Cch out possessed/shot an underdog Ncc team for all but about 5 minutes of that match. Ncc scored the go ahead with 4 seconds left.

This is ridiculous, why would a coach think that this is OK? Bring your jv or freshman team to this game. The lack of sportsmanship shown here is sad. Before each match the ref reads a card about sportsmanship and showing mutual respect. I guess someone needs to teach this team the meaning of respect.

Given the very weak competition, very weak schedule NCC is playing this season, I see no a NCC player can be considered for any top 3 in any category. How can you legitimately evaluate NCC players playing against this type of competition, compared some of the other teams players going up against the likes of Trinity, Moeller, Tates Creek, Elder, Sumitt, etc. #35 NCC's OAS 4.12 speaks for itself.
How is it that for the past 4 years we've had either an opoy or dpoy and this year we get no respect. We are a better team, better players and deserve some recognition. Not the players fault, they donate the schedule

Come on sideline, we agree on everything especially the fact McDonald is gone. From one Ncc guy to the next I thought you'd have my back here.
Justin has proven himself this year, stop being so hard on your boy. Consider the circumstances he is under. He is a leader in the back and deserves the recognition.
There are plenty of other good defenders too but none that carry an entirely new defense on his shoulders the way Justin does. If we can get healthy our defense can take us a long way. You got rid of McDonald now let's pull together and turn this program around

I saw the Birds vs the Breds last week and I was not impressed with the Birds defense at all. Multiple opportunities where the Breds got behind the defense but couldn't finish. Gesenhues was a non-factor in the game. In my opinion the best Birds Defender was Steppe. I would not put Gesenhues in a top 10 defenders list, much less a top 10 players list. Maybe you all should get out to see them play.
Justin Randle has to be on here as the favorite for DPOY. He is the leader of an entirely new back four for Ncc and is by far the best defender in nky. Sideline view should be able to confirm this, let's just say they stay under the same roof.
We may be having a rough patch but don't count us out, once we get healthy we will be back on track.
I think Morgan and Day are the front runners for Opoy

I think the coaches at Ncc are doing a great job. The return of Bob Gardner and Nick blank is huge for this program. Imo one of them will end up the head coach eventually.
I also have to say that St. Henry coaching staff are very good guys, the show great sportsmanship.

Ncc has a very solid freshman team this year
Beat cov cath
As you know, they are in shape and will be hard to beat. That narrow field plays to our style of soccer.
With the bracket set up the way it is, who knows what will happen

Look for Ryle to destroy Cooper
-
Highlands squanders a 2-0 first half lead to lose to a determined and very fit NCC squad. Schweitzer and Seiter with goals Highlands and Liles (2) and Schultz (1) for NCC (I think). First half ended 2-1 but NCC probably should have been awarded a PK when Eddie Schultz touched ball past HHS keeper and was taken out by Keeper's legs. Second half NCC continued to push with energy as HHS legs started looking tired. Chalk up the first encounter of the season to NCC... they'll meet again in District finals.
Bingo, a very FIT NCC squad
You all over look fitness

Gotta love the Anderson's

Great win for the breds

May I ask who the CR was?

Hey dbllyellow, here's my take on you.....
You stated today that Ncc would shut down Ryle's offense.
You have no clue what's going on, you are not a supporter of Ncc but some kid or parent that is trying to get everyone hating new cath. How about you just stop posting negative things about people and other teams. If you are a supporter of New Cath then please stop!!!! You my friend are making a mockery of your self and this forum. You obviously know who I am and have a vendetta against me (the old coach). I can tell you that I wish you the best and that I hope the breds have a great year. Please take your hatred elsewhere
Signed: Your former coach

OK but a goal is a goal, and every team has bad games. We shut Ryle down for the most part. We gave them 3 goals that we normally do not allow. Not knocking Ryle by any means, they will probably win their district. But like I said earlier Ncc shut down ryle's offense for the majority of the game.
-
I think Ncc shuts ryle's offense down. You guys keep over looking how good Ncc is defensively. I don't think there are to many defenses as good as Ncc in nky. Jeff Martin has done a great job at getting them in shape and is playing the right players already, he has figured out who plays best where early in the season which will help his guys come tournament time. Look for Ncc to win the rest of their games and make a deep run into the state tournament.
All you guys do is mock me, FYI it doesn't bother me. Ncc has made a name for itself over the past few years, be jealous, hate us, mock us, we don't care. If you did what we have lately I'd be jealous too......

Here's the way I saw the game being called last night.
KH once again insisted on being a factor in the game which in turn made the game very choppy and have no flow. I honestly don't think that there was a 5 minute period where he didn't inject himself into the game by blowing his whistle for no reason or very soft contact. Both coaching staffs were befuddled by the Pks awarded along with many other fouls. The card for resetting the ball was an absolute joke, not to mention it was one of Connors better playes, so now said kid has to play a little different since he's playing with a yellow.
In the jv match the AR called player off sides that was a defender in his defensive 3rd, he called the wrong team off sides. I know thatowe are short on refs and that we do hold them to high standards but in some cases they are the only people getting paid to be there. They are professionals, they get paid to know the rules and act professional. If you are a ref it is not your job to inject yourself as part of the game, let the kids play, you are being paid to do a certain job so do your job and nothing more or less. There are some really good ones out there, I hope we kind find more in the near future.
-
To be honest there really isn't much more to report. The ref was blowing his whistle every 10 seconds not allowing for much free play.
-
Careful now f&h KH did over 70 games last year, 5 days a week. Might not have had a good game and maybe the game had more pace than he was up for but there are plenty of games that the older refs are capable to handle. I hope most of you don't think they do it for the money since soccer refs haven't had a raise in ten years. Club pays better and a lot less travel[/quote
OK KH isn't normally that bad, I will give him that. Last night was exceptionally poor, at one point a kid hit the ground and not once but 3 times he told him to get up in a stern voice. The player was obviously in some sort of pain weather he was fouled or not. There were many instances that warranted fouls that were let go and probably the same amount that were called like a U8 game. I have defended the officials for quite some time but in this case I see what people are upset about.

Rule 5
Linstead, is a decent back but giving up 4 goals to Cooper? Cmon man
Imo he doesn't fit the mold of DPOY, he's not a game changer. Look at last year's DPOY Co players. Jacob Hensley was a game changer for Ncc, he was the best defender in the state I.e. he was state DPOY as well, he also had 15 goals. Then you had the keeper from Cooper who played behind basically the same defense they have this year and only gave up like 9 goals all year.
