He already said he's not interested (today).
Good!
-
He would be stupid not to listen. He's said multiple times he's not interested and considering the team he has returning I don't see it happening.
At one time when asked, Cal's answer was..."The Lakers have a coach." Be interesting to see what his answer is now.

According to ESPN.com....Lakers plan to contact Calipari regarding his interest in the coaching job. Thoughts???

In college basketball, UK is the king when looking at the totality of the program and what the program can boast on its resume.
Yep!
-
He'll say, "Pour me another bourbon. Neat."
-
I'm not sure if Coach Cal would even be in favor of a player setting up a personal press conference to announce that he was coming back.
It would certainly contradict his frustrations with UK be the "most overanalyzed team" if he did support it. However, Cal is a wiz at utilizing the media. I think it's a non-issue. Randle is gone anyway. Good luck to him.

Rex Chapman likes to stir the pot...

Why were twins in Orlando yesterday? Isnt UK in class? May hurt the team 3.0.
Southwest Airlines Flight to Houston connects in Orlando. Maybe headed home.

Dakahari, if I'm DJ I go on the Jorts training program and run run run until my legs fall off. Has raw skill to be really good, but again mobility is an issue.
Funny!!!

Rookies...
Just give me some time! I'll put in my time in the D league and get better. No worries...

Relax and just don't let it happen again. :lol2:
No prob!:thumb:

Coming back doesn't automatically improve a players draft stock. You're assuming that they'll improve and you're also assuming that they'll automatically get sent to the d league. Right now they are late first round to mid 2nd round picks. 1st round picks are guaranteed contracts, if they want that money then it's guaranteed for them. They don't know, nor do we, what will happen next year. Look at Marcus Smart coming back, look at others that have come back and have seen it go in a negative swing towards their stock.
I don't wanna say it but you know how the saying goes when one assumes. :sssh:
Read it again. I used the word POTENTIALLY for a reason.

As far as the subject goes I'd not fault the Twins for leaving because, ultimately, it's their decision. It shouldn't matter to anyone what they do although many fans will call them names and make nasty statements to them on Twitter about how they owe UK or they don't care about anyone, blah blah blah.
I'd imagine if they do declare it's because they just don't want to be in college and want to start their NBA careers, financially their parents have already said that shouldn't be a deciding factor because they are financially stable.
I hope they stay for their benefit, and for UK but if they don't I wish them the best of luck and will root for them in the NBA.
No fault to the twins. They really changed the direction of our tourney success. If I had the chance to make that 2nd round $$$#....I jump on it. I wish them well!
-
My point is that your statement doesn't make sense.
Why doesn't it make sense? If they wait a year they can potentially improve draft stock...whick means $$$. If they go....they will lose those potential $$$ and spend time in the D league. That's because they are not NBA ready. I thought I was obvious enough. I'll use more words and pictures going forward to clarify for you.

It's just a little annoying seeing a thread title like this and thinking there's news only to open it up to see more speculation.
Lucky for you that the title of the post was edited (not by me) to save people the inconvenience of clicking a mouse button. If this is the stuff that annoys you...I'll assume everything else in your life is easy peasy. Congrats to you from the rest of us.

Misleading thread title?
Thank God these posts aren't legal documents.

The D league? You do realize that a lot of players go to the D league and by them leaving it doesn't mean they'd wind up there. Patterson, T. Jones, etc. have all been in the D league.
Yes. I realize that. Why do you ask? I simply stated that they will end up there if they declare. What's your point?
-
If they go...they can wave goodbye to some $$$ that they'd see if they came back a year. They can also say hello to the D league.
-
So....say the twins go. How do we rate our backcourt next year? Wall, Knight, Harrow, Goodwin? (Calipari era....obviously)

I think he goes pro.
